“Wonderful stay”
Don’t hesitate to book this wonderful lodge! It is such a cosy cabin with a lovely outdoor terrace. But of course the unique selling point is the private onsen! With water flowing directly from the mountain (it is sulphureous, but the onsen space can be closed off completely with two doors & the space itself can be aired). It was such a perfect experience to soak in the onsen after our hikes! The owner is a wonderful person & hostess. Highly recommended.

“Perfect place to stay for 2-3 days .”
A perfect choice - own hot water onsen - kitchen - nicely renovated place - to relax The only minus - there is no shop closeby - you have to plan your supplies before arriving The host gives also massages very good for recovering

Host was incredibly nice and waited for us to check in to show us around the accommodation. Private hot spring was also an enjoyable experience and simulated a ryokan experience

Amazing stay at Yui's Lodge. The private onsen was an added bonus. Don't be put off by the relatively low numbers of comments on Booking, this place is definitely a gem, especially if you are looking for an authentic stay in the Japanese mountains of Kyushu. We loved our stay and Yui was an incredible host. We would love to come back again!
