Yuki is super friendly and thought maul to his guests, I received a warmest greeting from him and careful introduction to all facilities in the guest house. The traditionally Japanese room with tatami is confortable and warm, every corner in the house is tidy, and cat is super cute! I enjoyed my stay here and will definitely recommend people come and visit! Most importantly, foot bath is worthy to try!

A truly Japanese experience provided by Yuki in his home. Spotless place with all needed amenities including bonus of having a tap linked to the onsen source. Excellent tips and recommendations for things to do in the area and very convenient location in Kirishimam wish I could stay longer. Thank you Yuki.

“Excellent”

Just like the title says, you can stay here and experience everyday life like a local. The onsen bath is excellent, and as a bonus, there’s a bike available and all-you-can-drink shōchū. The area is quiet, with lots of family-friendly onsen, and a supermarket just a few minutes’ walk away. I would definitely stay here again.

The host Yuki was very kind and showed me around the home and introduced me to other guests staying here. I got to experience living in a traditional Japanese tatami room and the futon was very comfortable. The stay was very enjoyable and the neighbourhood was very calm and peaceful

A rare gem. We had a wonderful time. Yuki is a special person who made this house a little gem. We were amazed by the tranquility, peace, and serenity of our stay. Everything was perfect: the futons were super comfortable, the decorations were fantastic, and even sharing the common areas was no problem, even though we weren't used to it. We always had our privacy, but we also had the opportunity to talk with Yuki and meet another traveler. We were very sorry to have to leave. We tried to enjoy the two nights as much as possible; the area is fantastic, a world with so much to offer. Thank you, Yuki, we hope to return one day soon.

Very cozy and adorable place, with Yuki as your host you really feel home. We have slept in the new futons so well there were much thicker than usual and so comfy.

We had a lovely stay at this traditional Japanese house before heading to Kagoshima Airport in the morning. The host was very kind and spoke good English, so communication was easy. The private thermal footbath was a wonderful touch and made the experience even more relaxing. The location was perfect for our needs - several onsens nearby, the airport shuttle bus stops almost right in front of the house, and there’s a Lawson convenience store just around the corner. The host even kindly let us use the washing machine for free and helped us with the settings. Overall, a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Highly recommended!

The host was amazing, kindly and professional and he speaks a perfect english. The house was wonderful! A tradizionale japanese house with a private onsen, do you Need something else? The location is in front of the Airport bus stop and closer to a kombini and a Motto Hotto (try It for dinner) . Special tip: the foot bath onsen was something special! 10/10!

“Best place in Kirishima”

I didn’t except a such nice inn, everything is in its right place, you can feel the importance of details when the house has been renovated. The host is one of the most friendly and attentive I've ever met, from the first message to arrival, taking care to introduce guests to each other to create a warm atmosphere. Kirishima is well located, with Sakurajima volcano to the south and Kinkowan National Park to the north, so there are plenty of activities to do in the area. I highly recommend this inn, one of my best experiences of my trip to Kyushu !

“Relaxation off the beaten path”

5 stars for everything Yuki’s Guesthouse was the perfect place to stay for us. It was very relaxing, and the house was convenient and clean. Yuki had renovated his grandmothers house with good taste, it was modern but with tradition. It was nice to sink feet into the onsen water foot bath on the deck after walking around the peaceful surroundings. Yuki gave us also good information about area and was very kind as a host. We enjoyed our visits to the Youyu-an Onsen and Noah’s Coffee House where you can drink coffee grown in the Kirishima area. We could have stayed longer! Greetings from two Finnish ladies

Yuki's guesthouse was one of the best surprises in my travels. If you want to experience Japan for real, this is the place for you. Yuki's neighborhood is as local as it gets, and the house itself is as Japanese as it gets, in the best way possible.

Very friendly host, very nice house, well organised and super clean. I really loved my stay, very quiet during the night. The restaurant almost in front of the house is excellent for dinner.
