“Local family hotel.”
Nice little hotel. Has been there for 100 years and has the plus and minus that you would expect. The room was comfortable and clean as was the bathroom. There is parking outside although not secured. The staff/owners were very nice and the lady serving breakfast was lovely. The breakfast itself was pretty good. Meals in the restaurant where good and reasonably priced and the restaurant served mainly to the locals which is always a good sign.

“A great surprise”
Nice rooms, friendly staff and great food in the restaurant. The hotel is very handy if you want to take train into Freiburg as the nearest station is only a 2 minute walk away. The trains don't run all night, so you get a good night's sleep

The staff was very friendly. I had no remote control for the TV on the room but they brought another TV with remote control. Problem solved. A very good breakfast incl. A big room.

“Kind staff, comfortable, good breakfast and great location!”
Very kind staff. Some of them spoke english, so the communication was great, and with the people who only spoke german, we managed to understand each other just fine. The rooms were comfortable, big, and with nice views. The breakfast was great, with enough options for everyone. Two-minutes walk from the train station, and 15 minutes by train from Freiburg. Perfect!
