“Perfect from beginning to End”
Calling this place an 'hostel' is the biggest understatement ever. The room was spacious and lovely, the surroundings beautiful and the staff amazingly nice. I had two beautiful and relaxing days.

Clean and comfortable room, in a great location walking distance to everything you want to see! They have a mesh bag, extra towels and pants/jacket for you to use at the onsens, and you get free onsen passes (one per person per night of stay)! The staff are so friendly and helpful. The accomodation has shared facilities that we didn’t use, but that looked great. A much more affordable option compared to most places in Kinosaki. Whilst it’s called a ‘hostel’ it’s definitely not a youth hostel style accomodation, more like a guesthouse/hotel.

“A beautiful little hostel nestled right in the heart of Kinosaki.”
It’s located in the very heart of Kinosaki. A being advertised as a hostel is almost a disservice. The room I had was just as big as any hotel I’ve had on my trip. Lovely, clean, AC, Tv, fridge and right in the heart of the beautiful Kinosaki.

“Wonderful stay”
The room was really beautiful, the bathroom was clean and the shared spaces were really lovely and peaceful. We used the kitchen several times and found it well equipped and functional, there is a grocery store in town you can buy some things to cook with if dietary requirements make eating out difficult. The room included baskets with towels that we could take to the onsen and a ticket to two onsen each although we ended up buying a day pass each to try to visit them all. I'd recommend using the onsen tickets the night you arrive then buying a pass the next day to see the rest or revisit your favourites. I knew the stay didn't include a yakata but I would have been open to yukata rental if it was offered at the accommodation. I did notice some places in town you can rent one from for the day and recommend visitors investigate that if they want to wear a yukata. Location is really great and close to convenience stores, onsens and the train station

“Hotel feel and affordable stay”
Spacious and modern room, feels more like an hotel room than an hostel. There's a communal kitchen, which we used one night, and a sauna. We didn't use it as the access was blocked by snow and didn't have a swim suit with us. Staff was friendly and helpful and we got a free onsen entry per night. The room has towels and bags for your onsen trips, but not a yukata, which was fine for us as we visited in winter. Great location as well. I would come back.

Location is right along the main street of Kinosakionsen. It's close to 2 of the 7 public bathhouses, although one of them is undergoing a long renovation and is closed indefinitely. The others are a bit of a walk away but the scenery and dreamy charm of the town makes it pleasureable. Overall a great place to stay if you want to experience Kinosakionsen's baths without having to splurge on a ryokan. Super friendly staff too! Pro-tip: save your single entry bathhouse coupon (free for each night's stay) for the day you're checking out. So you can have a last bath for free before leaving Kinosakionsen.

“Perfect hostel in the heart of Kinosaki”
Very friendly staff that goes beyond what you can expect to accommodate guests. Rooms are spotless clean. The hostel is located in the center of Kinosaki….the first onsen is circa 50 m around the corner. In comparison to other hotels/ryokans in Kinosaki the hostel is very cheap…. worth every penny.

“Hotel accommodation for hostel prices - great staff and great stay”
Very conveniently located, 3-5 minute walk to the train station, local to all the Onsen’s, cafe’s and restaurants at your door step. The staff were incredibly helpful and very lovely - they were able to accommodate our limited Japanese and spoke very good English. The room was definitely more of a hotel than a hostel, you have your own space and bathroom, and a window with a view of a temple - from which you could hear the drums of an early evening. It was beautiful ☺️
