beautiful view and a lovely patio

It was clean, it was pretty comfortable, but we didn't expect the railroad located pretty close. Frankly speaking it wasn't bother us at night time at all. The owner was very friendly.

Cutlery drawer and tray dirty, some dirt on baseboards, otherwise very clean. Beds comfortable. Says they take pets, but they only take dogs. No other pets. Does not let you select the type of pet on Bookings.com

We liked the proximity to the lake and Kingston. We were travelling Niagara to Montreal. It was a good stopover. It snowed overnight and we will never forget that in itself. We loved Kingston.

The room was perfect. Very clean with a marble bathroom from floor to ceiling! Waterfall shower was beautiful touch.

The pictures shown on their website are of the newer rooms. They look great. That's what we thought they were all like and thought that was what we had booked and would be staying in. That's why we booked there. Unfortunately, that wasn't what we got. There are only a few of the newer rooms. The majority of the rooms are tired and do not appear very clean. That's where we stayed. We were surprised. We were told at check in, that if you call the hotel directly, you could request a new room. Hope that helps you in your decision to book. It's on the river and they have tables and chairs where you can sit and enjoy the river view. That was nice. Our room had a small kitchenette with a fridge and a microwave, sink, and some dishes. No view. Noisy air conditioner. Overall felt like it needed a deep clean and repairs to past renovations. We wouldn't stay there again.

The location was perfect. Near all the activities we had planned. The beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly. Enjoyed good fishing with the kids off the dock and the sailboat view. It was near the train tracks, but we weren't really bothered by the noise. It was actually fun to see them go by.
