Situated between Ayers Rock and Alice Springs, Discovery Resorts - Kings Canyon offers 2 restaurants, 2 swimming pools, and a petrol station. It features outback campground rooms and a unique outdoor dining experience. Discovery Resorts - Kings Canyon facilities include a tennis court, general store, souvenir shop, shared laundry facilities and petrol station. Tour desk and postal services are also available. Room was clean and comfortable, in a small block of two with a fully enclosed, screened camp kitchen between the rooms which was very convenient. Excellently situated for exploring the canyon. There is a store and fuel here too.

Could have rated the top rating. The only reason was- there was no wifi reception in our accommodation. Otherwise, it was really worth. We will revisit in near future again with family.

“Relaxing quiet stay at the Canyon.”
Enjoyed that the room could fit 3 friends travelling together, along with a kettle for making tea & coffee. The camp kitchen was next door for use of a fridge, microwave, toaster, hot water and a sink. We didnt use the stove to cook, but saw others using this at breakfast. It was only a short walk for toilet and showers which were kept nice and clean. We walked along to the deck behind the accommodation to enjoy the live music and sunset with a drink before dinner. This was an added bonus.

Liked the location of the room looking out towards the scenery. A reasonably spacious room for 2 females. The fridge froze our food, so had to turn it down. Nice and close to facilities.

We loved that it felt like part of the environment rather than an extravagant resort but it still had what you would expect at an extravagant resort. Full breakfast included .. a 10 min walk away at the tavern .. we drove instead. Lovely pool area. Lots of birds literally at our door/balcony.

The parking is in two main areas and it is a matter of luck as to how far away from your room you are able to park. We seemed to be quite a way from where we could park the car. not ideal when one has two heavy suitcases.
