Beautifully renovated property with all modern comforts. Although primarily aimed at winter sports visitors, it is also an excellent place to stay during the rest of the year. Our room was spacious, exceptionally clean and equipped with very comfortable beds. We enjoyed a wonderful view of the nearby volcano. Guests also have access to a pleasant shared lounge area with an excellent coffee machine. A thoughtfully designed small-scale accommodation, hosted by an English-speaking owner and hostess who made us feel very welcome.

The room is spacious and clean. All facilities are complete. Wendy, the host greets us and explain everything for our comfort. Thank you for the great stay!

We had the pleasure of spending a night in this wonderful BnB, and from the very first moment we felt welcomed into a spotless and cozy place. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, with all the comforts we could need: two very comfortable beds, a spacious bathroom, and a perfectly functional shower. The design of the house was just as impressive — modern, warm, and very much in line with our taste, making us feel instantly at home. I must highlight the incredible cleanliness: I am usually not comfortable walking barefoot in most places, but here I had no hesitation at all. And last but not least, the hosts. Two truly kind, gentle, and caring people who not only spoke excellent English (which made communication so easy), but also took the time to share a lovely conversation with us — together with their adorable little dog who completely stole our hearts. Thank you so much for making our trip to Japan even more special. We will carry this memory with us. Love from Italy 🤍

Very clean and freshly renovated, rooms are spacious and beds are firm. We had a great dinner nearby, opposite the 7-11 so overall it was a pleasure to stay for a night.

Extremely friendly and helpful owner. Hubert put guest satisfaction above all else. The room was very comfortable and clean, had every amenity we needed and we were asked on what else we needed to make the stay better, this location is a 10/10 for traveling to the area for snowboarding/skiing or sight seeing!

Fantastic location, 10 minutes drive from rusutsu. We drove and there was an allocated parking spot for us. Owners Winnie & Hubert were fantastic and very friendly and accommodating. The place is freshly renovated and everything is in tip top condition and super clean. Rooms have basically everything you could need or ask for. There's a coin laundry as well as a drying room for your gear. We stayed in the twin room which is on the ground floor and it was plenty big. Absolutely fantastic value.

The hosts Winnie and Hubert were outstandingly responsive and attentive to our needs over the duration of our stay. The free shuttle to and from Rusutsu resort was an especially fantastic service and the facilities within the room met all of our needs.

Hubert and Winnie couldn't have been more helpful and courteous as hosts. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. I had an issue with my hire car and without Winnies help I would have been completely lost.

“Gateway snow adventures at Rusutsu”

The Lobs is like a snowboarder's grand hub for snow adventures at Rusutsu. Our hosts were more than accommodating: shuttling us to and from the resort every day. Our room was incredibly clean and comfortable, filled with modern amenities like a smart TV, fast internet, and a kitchenette. The communication and logistics were great and super easy. We felt very cared for and we made new friends with the hosts and other snowboard guests. We were super grateful for our host taking us around the mountain for a morning, which set us up well for getting to know the off-piste options that are incredibly fun.

Mate it had everything… big comfy beds big screen tv ,heated floors, big enough fridge for the price we got allot more value Toilet shower was the best of all the places we’ve stayed in Japan affordable accommodations by far the lobbs was the best!!! Not to say the other places weren’t good I’m definitely coming back To add the hosts Hubert and Winnie they were awesome they made our trip to rusustu that much better like a family feel love those guys!!! We had the most epic week epic pow !!!

Hosts are a super friendly couple who are on-site and happy to help or offer recommendations. Check-in was super easy (door code into room) and hosts are super communicative and very responsive. Room is large, clean, comfortable, quiet, and cozy. WiFi works great. Shower gets hot with great water pressure. Room also has microwave and TV with netflix. Parking is available in the driveway. Location is 10 min away to Rusutsu and 30-40min to Niseko for skiing, super convenient. Thank you Winnie for being so welcoming!
