The staff are incredible friendly. No English was spoken which isn't an issue but my internet was getting delivered to the hotel so we struggled until we had this for Google translate but the staff really tried to help us. The location was good for us for where we was to meet our tour guide for 3 days but otherwise would be out of the way. The view was nice. The staff rang to pre-book a taxi for us.

“Parking issue”
When booking, parking was "free". There was no need to pay for parking. Once I arrived at the hotel I was told I had to pay for parking. I said "No, parking was free." The staff member told me that because I did not register my cars details in the booking, I had to pay. I advised them that "There was no option to register the car for parking, as the parking was free and the booking advised me as such. At not point was I asked to register this. I specifically filtered "free parking" when searching for a place to stay. I told them outrightly that I was unhappy at this. The staff member spoke with the manager and I was not charged. The hotel itself was fine, but I was not happy at this. The cost of the parking was not extortinate at all, but the priniciple did not sit well with me. It seemed they were trying to get more money from me and were hoping that I wouldn't contest the charges.

“Average hotel experience”
Normal small double room, the bed was pretty comfortable. Breakfast was okay and the onsen was just like a public bath.
