“Value for money”

The host was quite helpful in getting me transport from the airport and to my meeting venue. The room was great especially the bed was quite comfortable.

What a lovely guesthouse - we felt so much at home for four days! Margret, the owner of the guesthouse is such a lovely and wise person. She was preparing delicious and proper breakfast for us and we very much enjoyed hanging out with her at breakfast talking about this and that or joined her and some other guys from around for a delicious BBQ in the beautiful garden in the afternoon. Zablon, her business partner and the guy who's in charge of all technical things, was very nice and helpful and we enjoyed the morning walks with him on the beach with the three super lovely dogs. We have loved to cuddle Boris, Bruno & Chico - especially in the morning they were greeting us at the veranda asking for some cuddling :) The area is super calm as there is not much around. There is no ATM and no supermarkt, but you can buy some fresh fruits in the village. The room was very spacious and clean and there were not that many mosquitos around. The kitchen was well equipped and the pool area was great to hang around. The beach is just a 3min walk from the guesthouse. Thank you so much Margret & Zablon for having us! We had a great stay at Zablon's Boss. I wish we could have stayed longer but unfortunately we needed to return to Nairobi. Margaret is a great host! We had good conversations, an excellent breakfast and she also offers beers for a very reasonable price. The swimming pool and the garden are beautiful and were a great place to relax before returning to the hectic chaos of Nairobi. Although normally I am not a huge fan of dogs, I really liked her 3 dogs and cat.

very good equipped hotel and guest house, wonderful big garden with all kinds of blooming and blossoming plants and flowers in all kinds of beautiful colours, very friendly and helpful staff, very good daily breakfast, a safe and stress-free place with 3 very active and protective dogs called Boris - the Russian, Bruno and their little Brother. I had a lot of fun with them and they ran nearly daily to the beach for a swim in the Kenyan part of the Indian Ocean. On the other hand a spiffing and marvelous swimming pool which brings also a highly welcomed refreshment during the long and tropically warm days in East Africa. The beach ist only a 5 to 10 minute walk away together with a restaurant and open-air bar located directly at he beach front. For a few Kenyan Shillings are motorbike ore trike taxis available which bring tourists to Central Mtwappa and Mombasa. All in all I had a remarkably relaxing, good and interesting stay at the Zablon´s Boss Hotel.

“Mind Blown”

Had such an amazing stay courtesy of Margaret, the host. This was home away from home & I'm so glad to have made a family in Msumarini. The warm reception, environment, ambience & proximity to the beach did it for me. I'll definitely lodge here again whenever I'm around & I totally recommend it 💯
