Right from our first arrival, the warmth of the staff was exceptional.

The location is good, the breakfast was tasty, and the staff were generally friendly — especially Justin, who was helpful and kind.

Staff is super friendly, and the location is calm for Kigali, very beautiful grounds, especially where gym and restaurants are located (up the street from this property). Lovely rooms and turn-down service. Food is really good, and plentiful breakfast; meals are a bit pricey, however, even for Kigali. The 24-hour gym was really nice and had new and well-maintained equipment, usually empty when I went (at night).

The staff are very friendly and genuinely try to help. However, the accommodation leaves much to be desired. The villa rooms face a busy four-lane road with no effective noise insulation and lack blackout curtains. My first evening included a lukewarm shower. After an upgrade to the residence, the issues persisted: the charming but dorm-like structure demands proper soundproofing. Conversations and arrivals of neighboring guests could be heard clearly, and squeaking doors only added to the disturbance. On the positive side, the breakfast buffet was excellent, and the hot stone massage was truly enjoyable. Unfortunately, the lack of basic comfort—particularly the excessive noise—overshadowed these strengths. During my nine-day stay for work in Kigali, it felt far more exhausting than restful. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this hotel in its current state.

“Good hotel with some shortcomings that are easily overlooked”

Breakfast was at another hotel a 5-min walk away which was unusual. However, the breakfast options were fantastic and varied. Best breakfast in Rwanda so far. Bedroom was queen double with a balcony. The room was very tight on space and disappointingly the balcony was a square of ground hemmed in with a wall so felt claustrophobic. I expected a balcony overlooking something! Swimming pool is lovely. Gym facilities decent. Staff are overall pleasant but lack any autonomy on resolving guest queries and any issues that arise. The lack of flexibility with staff for customers is unnecessarily frustrating. Hotel taxi service is great. Pricey, but reliable service.

The room was ok (see my comment in the next box). I liked it had a balcony. The shower was good. The breakfast was excellent. The restaurant was very good too. The staff was super nice.

Good location at walking dinstance to the center of Kigali. Lively open air restaurant which is frequented by many people.
