Sturdys Castle

Sturdys Castle is a 400 year old coaching inn that boasts a bar, restaurant, and free parking. Sturdy's Castles hotel is situated in a separate building behind the main pub. The accommodation is split over two levels, unfortunately there is not a lift to the second floor. If you require a ground floor room please contact us and we will be happy to accommodate requests where possible. We have 18 bedrooms that are a mix of Twin bedded rooms or King bedded rooms. We offer free WiFi and Sky TV in our Rooms. In the mornings, guests can select breakfast from the breakfast menu. The restaurant also serves traditional dishes and pub classics. Sturdys Castle is located in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside, between the villages of Tackley and Kidlington. The location is convenient for visiting the market town of Woodstock which is home to Blenheim Palace, and is just 4 miles from the country inn and situated within 1 mile of London Oxford Airport. The university city of Oxford is just 20 minutes’ drive away.
