The rest, the garden. Moussa is a great host. Felt so like home. Every morning breakfast with fresh fruit. Learned a lot about the culture and the locals are incredible nice and welcoming you as there own

“Magical Moussa”
Our host, Moussa, is the single most lovely person I've met thus far in Zanzibar. If you're looking for an authentic, non-touristy, excursion, staying at Mama's house is a must. We were greeted with warmth and joy and were made to feel extremely comfortable. The food was great and Moussa even took time out of his day to sit and chat with us. An absolute gem of a place, you won't be disappointed.

Nice. Great welcome, fantastic breakfast, great conversations, and it's important to keep Mom's house! Wishing your family prosperity and health. A perfect option near Stonetown on the way to the spice farms and Nungwi! We didn't make a mistake and didn't overpay for a similar level of comfort in Stonetown.

“All relaxed comfort and felt cared got more than i paid .”
While my stay was short I really loved mamas house. It was a relaxing quiet place and the locals were friendly and welcoming. The host and his family were also very welcomining and very informative. I am happy to have spent my last night in zanzibar here.

“Love that place”
Everything was soo awesome. The room for guest had a very comfortable bed, smart tv and shower with hot water :) the garden is so lovely, i love plants a lot and this was really paradise for us. Our host speak english very well and is so nice, he is helpfull human and we really feel like in home. House is located near to Ston town. We can use dala -dala, 8 km and you can join wonderful beaches and a lot of different places. Is no in tourist place and we love it! When you decide chose Mama's house, you can live between local people, talk with them, see their culture and just have fun.

“Great little place to stay if you want something budget friendly”
Amazing host, picked us up from the airport, moved us to a bigger room because of lizard lol. Let us cancel early, very clean, good kitchen essentials, tv, wifi was great, quiet area.
