“This was a wonderful stay.”

This was an excellent stay. The host is outstanding. Super gracious and kind. The location couldn't be better. It's right in the center of the inner walled city and walking distance to everything. There was hot water in the showers and fans provided for extra cooling. Breakfast is wonderfully placed on the patio and the amount of food is very good.

As I was the only guest, the couple running the B&B upgraded my room! Although the B&B is located in a quiet residential area, seemingly far from the bustling market, it's just a minute's walk to the old city center, and it offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle. Guests can enjoy the tranquility of the ancient city, especially in the early morning or at night. The hostess prepares breakfast herself every morning, which is simple but ritualistic. Moreover, there is a mosque under renovation opposite the B&B, so guests can immerse themselves in the ancient atmosphere while having breakfast!

Place was gorgeous - very beautiful and historic. Breakfast was amazing and there was lots of it. Perfect location just a few minutes walk to the old town and all the restaurants, cafes and historic buildings. Nice and clean. Staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend for solo / couples / friends.

“Very comfortable stay in a prime location next to the Islam Khoja mosque with welcoming hosts.”

Abdulloh and his family were very accommodating. They let us check into a larger room earlier than normal check in. They helped arrange a taxi to Khiva and dinner for us at short notice. Delicious breakfast of fruit, salad, and freshly cooked fried dumplings. Prepared fresh when we were seated rather than beforehand.

Clean, spacious room. Abdullah and his wife don't speak very good English but get by with Google translate and honestly could not be more welcoming and forthcoming. They make you feel right at home. The breakfast is great and the location is fantastic.

Wonderful location. Owners Extremely supportive in case of need. Real home feeling. Suggested to those travellers Who like to interact and get in touch with local culture.

“Home away from home”

Here, you are staying at a home away from home. The location is in a quiet residence area that is only a minute walk from the bustling tourist area, and the view of the historic though defunct mosque adds to the ambiance. However the gem is the host family who has been incredibly hospitable! For instance, when my pants ripped, the son generously escorted me to the local market that I would not have the language skill to do so myself. I ate almost all my meals here too after I discovered that their food tastes better, was in bigger portions, and is cheaper than restaurants. I highly recommend here and would return here when I come back to Khiva. Just sipping tea at the balcony is worth the trip alone

“Wonderful place to stay and relax close to the sights”

Abdullah and Fatima were such lovely and hospitable hosts. The breakfast was lovely, and the location is so central and yet so quiet! The room was lovely and cool (I didn’t need to use the air conditioner but there was an air conditioner unit in the room if you need). It was lovely and peaceful.
