Comfortable bed, room was nice, food was nice. Front desk staff eventually extended checkout free of charge.

Beautiful setting, amazing beach and views. Very quiet and peaceful, always able to get a sunbed. Beautiful swimming pool. More of a local feel within the jungle rather than a shiny western type resort. Rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was fine with lots of choice. Very easy to get into Khao Lak centre. Visited local elephant conservation place, was only half an hour away. Only one bar/restaurant at hotel but there was another beach one right next door and it's only a few minutes drive into the town where there are plenty of shops and places to eat.

The location is quite nice, nestled in nature with a beautiful surrounding area that includes two types of pools and a beach. The restaurant near the beach is pleasant and reasonably priced, and the breakfast is exactly what you’d expect from a hotel at this level. A major highlight was the massage—it was great! However, the place is only 'okay' overall. Once you see the Paradise Resort nearby, you realize what a resort in this setting is actually supposed to look like.

We had an amazing stay at Wanaburee Resort in Khao Lak and couldn't recommend it more. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, surrounded by lush trees and nature, with the beach right on your doorstep. It feels very peaceful and secluded, yet still conveniently located. The staff were incredible - genuinely kind, attentive, and always willing to help. They really went above and beyond to make our stay special. Our room was beautiful and very spacious, with a huge comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. Everything was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was great, with plenty of choice, and the setting was stunning - served in a treehouse-style restaurant which made it feel extra special. The pools were also amazing and never felt overcrowded. The location was perfect for us, with Khao Lak town only a 10-minute tuk tuk ride away, so it was easy to get to restaurants, bars, and shops while still enjoying the calm of the resort. Overall, everything about Wanaburee was beautiful. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Khao Lak.

Great location

Small and beautifullly thought out hotel and layout. Excellent location right on the beach and the grounds are lush, exotic and beautifully kept. Resident Water Monitors roam the grounds which was a little disconcerting when you first encounter them but harmless and very amusing. Rooms are extremely comfortable with absolutely everything you could need. Breakfasts were very good indeed. Staff were welcoming and efficient. Would definitely return.

We had an amazing time at this property. It is much less built up than some others on this beach and the different buildings are much better integrated in the local nature. The overall impression is that it feels much less crowded than some of the gigantic resorts right around the corner. If you are looking for peace and tranquility this is definitely the place to go on Khao Lak beach. The hotel restaurant on the beach has amazing views towards the quieter part of the beach. And for all your guided trips, car transfers and other local information talk to the lady who runs the Andalay bar & restaurant right next door. She can arrange anything.

“Peaceful friendly and perfect spot”

The Wanaburee resort is at the far end of khao lak but an easy walk of 10 minutes into the centre. The benefits of this are that the hotel is peaceful and very beautifully set on the edge of a national park. Green plant life with birds and wildlife to see. Beaches are clean. The breakfast was lovely and consistent with lots of choice. The room we had over looked a pond. There is a restaurant on the beach and a choice of 2 pools. This is not a big and everything included hotel. But if you are after friendly helpful staff a quiet atmosphere and a good breakfast and choice of food at the restaurant a 10 minute walk from town then this is the hotel for you.

Set in beautiful surroundings, the suites blend in beautifully with the forest. It just oozes elegance, comfort and luxury.

Great location, right on the beach. The staff were nice and helpful, the infinity pool was beautiful, and the overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing.

We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at Wanaburee. All members of the hotel staff were extremely thoughtful, hospitable and professional — they went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs are met, and that our stay is as comfortable as possible. The hotel boasts an amazing location — it’s located on a beautiful, sandy stretch of Khao Lak beach. The hotel’s beach beds are located on the beach (very close to the water) and are easily accessible from all rooms. We saw some incredible sunsets the 3 nights that we were there. The hotel manager is a kind and warm lady, and checked in on us multiple times during our stay.

The Rendezvous 3 room is directly opposite so many beach beds so many people can see into the room. The privacy during the day is limited.

Location is exactly as described best beach area around. We had a swim up room pool access was lovely. Good position on the estate plenty of sunshine some of the villas look rather dark in the shade. Lovely breakfast restaurant egg chef could not do enough for everyone lovely man.

“Best Small Resort in Khao Lak!”

The staff throughout the resort were so helpful and kind. The breakfast options were great, the food at the restaurant was top notch, the pools were relaxing, the views and beach were fantastic, and the spa staff were great at giving good thai massage. We absolutely loved this gem of a resort!!!

Everything. We had a Manor room which was beautiful and comfortable. housekeeping service was excellent. Restaurant staff have an excellent service with a plentiful and good breakfast. The reception team were excellent and Orawan was amazing, so helpful and attentive through out our stay. Location is good with a short walk to town. the beach and pool areas were clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend and return when in Khao Lak.

The breakfast buffet is excellent and the staff very very friendly. The rooms quite modern and clean. The location ist really good,very calm,lovely resort and nice beach. The manager,she is so kindly and she takes always time to talk with the guest.
