We couldn’t have chosen a better hotel in Khao Lak. It’s a small, cozy place that is incredibly clean, and it’s run by two wonderful owners – a married couple you simply won’t forget. Honestly, we have never met anyone so kind, warm, and genuinely caring. Both of them are like sunshine – always smiling, and their positive energy made our day better every single day. The breakfasts were generous, delicious, and prepared with love by the owners themselves, which made the whole experience feel even more personal and welcoming. During our entire stay, we felt truly comfortable there – almost like at home. It was genuinely hard to leave. And if we ever return to Khao Lak, we already know for sure that we will choose this hotel again. We will never forget them ❤️

We had an exceptional stay at Baramate Khao Lak. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality from the wonderful couple who run the guesthouse made us feel completely at home. They are genuinely kind, attentive, and clearly care deeply about their guests having a great experience. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything you might need. The facilities are excellent and very well maintained — you can tell a lot of care goes into the place. Breakfast each morning was a real highlight. Fresh, delicious, and prepared with so much attention — the perfect start to the day. The location is also fantastic: peaceful and relaxed, yet still close to everything you might want in Khao Lak, including restaurants, the beach, and places to explore. What really makes Baramate special though is the atmosphere. It feels welcoming, personal, and genuinely warm in a way that larger hotels rarely achieve. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Khao Lak. A truly wonderful place run by truly wonderful people.

“Ideal for a stay in Khao Lak”

Spotlessly clean room, one of four in a B&B run by a delightful couple. The bed was comfy, the shower was good, the aircon was good, the breakfast was good, in a quiet area ….. and very reasonably priced! We stayed here whilst doing trips to Khao Sok, so weren’t bothered by the lack of a pool or 4* hotel amenities, but actually we really liked Khao Lak, a bit more laid back than other places and a nice vibe! (We’re retired but not yet ready for Benidorm!!!) Sadly we were affected by the flight cancellations back to the UK and there was so availability here after our pre-booked stay, so we moved nearer to Phuket airport, which we were driven to by the husband at a competitive rate.

Very nice, family run accomodation. It was spotless, both the room and the reception. The breakfast was great and mrs. Weena has helped organise the trips to Surin and Similan islands. She and her husband really go above and beyond for their guests, with one of them always being around. Thank you for everything 😊

Baramate is a lovely hotel, which is small but much higher quality than many larger hotels. The owners are very kind and attentive. The rooms are immaculately cleaned every day with very comfy beds. Highly recommended.

The owners are amazing and NOTHING is to much trouble.. the place is immaculately clean and model. They will arrange taxi and trips . Breakfast is brilliant and is freshly made for you.. it's about an 8min walk to the beach and a 5 mins walk to bars and restaurants. Will be visiting again

“Lovely stay”

We loved our stay! Room and all the premises were spotlesly clean and in a really good condition and the owners Weena and Nem were so so nice and welcoming. Breakfast was good, you get beach towels from hotel and you can also hire a motorbike from the hotel in a good price. Would definetly choose this hotel again if staying in Bang Niang area. We have stayed in a 5 star hotel (JW Marriot) and Baramate is in a much better condition and room was much cleaner. If you don't want a big resort or don't need a swimming pool and prefer a personal super friendly service, then this is your kind of place.

The couple who own Baramate are exceptionally hospitable and made us feel very welcome. The hotel, which has five rooms, was immaculately clean, spacious, and well laid out. Our rooms were cleaned daily and we were routinely provided with fresh towels. There is a nice breakfast buffet available between 7 and 10. The owners could not do enough to help us during our stay. They arranged transportation, a boat tour, and laundry. The hotel is located on a relatively quiet side road, with the main shops, restaurants, and beaches just a short walk away. It would be difficult to find a friendlier or more welcoming 2-star hotel anywhere.

“Amazing hotel and hosts go above and beyond”

The owners man and wife are totally amazing and cannot do enough for you. Rooms are the cleanest ever seen and I've stayed in many 5* around the world. Breakfast is great with good selection. Organised airport pickup and drop off sorted day trips at amazing prices.. rooms have fresh bottled water free each day. Maid service EVERY day with clean towels and bedding every day too. Great location 6min walk from bars and restaurants and no more than 10 min from beach .Friendly and welcoming. felt better than home from home. We stayed 10th dec-26th Dec 2025. We will return

Great Place to Stay! The hosts Veena and Shana were lovely people and very hospitable and helpful. Felt like home during our stay. Close to Bang Niang Market and Beach with may restaurants and 7 Eleven also in walking distance. Nang thong beach is 6 mins away on scooter. They also rent out bikes at a better rate than others. The place was super clean and was very well arranged when we entered the room. You can get your room cleaned if you are staying for longer. Their Breakfast was a highlight. Veena had made a banana cake which was yummyyy and she let us take some when we checked out!

All round Superb. Location close to Bang Niang Market. Weena, husband and staff can’t do enough for you. Great breakfast. The cleanest accommodation we’ve ever stayed at. Easy arrangements for airport pick up and other journeys to beach and all at a fab price. We will definitely return!
