Quiet place — exactly what I needed to reset my mind and nervous system. Cozy room. For one person, it has everything you need: a fridge, microwave, and kettle. Comfortable mattress, bedside lamp, working plumbing, and a full set of towels. I stayed for two nights. I wanted to read, walk, and not see people. It was the perfect choice for that. I visited on weekdays in February — maybe on weekends or during high season it feels different. There’s no cell service and the Wi-Fi is slow, but in my case that was actually a huge plus. I was more than satisfied with the breakfast. The surroundings are incredibly beautiful and peaceful. By the way, my room was under the kitchen, and I actually loved waking up and hearing life already starting upstairs.

I liked the photos on Booking.com, but the property itself looked nothing like them. Some guests travel halfway around the world to experience this beautiful forest, and sadly this place was simply not worth the effort it took to get there. Please look after your guests, because the issues here were basic. The walls need painting, the skirting boards need a proper clean, the bath mat needs washing, and the heating should be on before guests arrive so the room is comfortable instead of freezing. Even providing a television would help people pass the time while waiting for the room to warm up.

The setting was beautiful by the river very peaceful. The manager was very friendly and helpful. The catering was excellent. The jacuzzi was a delight especially in the morning sunshine.

It feels like a reset for yout mind, just an incredible sense of wellbeing. No screens in the room, just the sound of the river and the views of the mountains. Its a perfect detox for the senses.

Beautiful position, staff.

Perfect location. The room was clean and it was very cozy with the small electric fireplace which gave so nice ambient. The breakfast had good and various choices for everybody. I liked my stay very much.

“Beware, no parking possibility and very steep entrance. Very bad customer service”

After a long trip to get to the location on a small curvy road in the mountains there was nowhere we could park our RV (Wohnmobil) - PLEASE BE AWARE - the entrance is so steep that it is impossible to park there. As it was almost dark it was also quiet dangerous to drive around and find something else for the night on such short notice. I am pregnant by the way therefore it was even more inconvenient to find something and the owner did not reply or get back to any of our requests to receive a refund as we weren't able to park there and therefore no overnight stay possible. Even with a normal vehicle you would risk the chance to damage your car in the front.

This place is a paradise.

Quiet Mind Lodge really lived up to our expectations. Sarah the manager was a wonderful host, so friendly and welcoming! She also prepared a wonderful dinner and breakfast. We had a lovely swim in the creek and enjoyed the calm. Was just what we needed. Thank you Sarah!

Sarah was an absolutely amazing host, no task was too big for her, from recommendations on activities to do to running around making sure every guest's experience runs smoothly. She helped fix the light in our room and one night we observed her cook half a dozen meals for guests, then she'd be up the next morning bright and early for checkout, basically running the place herself and still with a brilliant smile on her face. She is truly a miracle worker, and her breakfasts and dinners were delicious. Thank you so much Sarah for the amazing stay. Would not hesitate to recommend this place!

Sarah the host was probably one of the nicest, most lovely beautiful inside and out people on the planet 😂 which immediately puts your stay off to a good start! The location is perfect for an escape, though very remote! Breakfast was awesome, and the nearby nature with the sequoia up at the trail of 100 giants (and others) was amazing!
