“Really enjoyed staying here and just a short walk from the town”
Fabulous breakfast home made granola with dates with home made yogurt and wild honey! The dog and chickens were very friendly except sometimes the cockerel wanted to chase you. Absolutely everything you could want for a home from home stay, even a needlework set. Also very eco friendly and organic, she is a genius.

“Home away from home vibe”
- The most wholesome and varied breakfast we’ve had so far on our travels through SE Asia - the homemade granola and bread were truly excellent and we loved the Ugandan style wraps too! Also the availability of non diary milk - Kate’s bakes! Tastiest cake and gingerbread cookies! - The swimming pool was very clean when we arrived and we used it daily - Good quality mosquito net in the bedroom and quiet air con unit - The grounds were green and offer wildlife watching opportunities - Recycling and green waste composting - Free water refills with clay filtration - The pets - cats, Aster the dog and Cooper the giant rooster - all full of personality ;) - Home like feeling thanks to small things like the essential oil burner in the bedroom, candles in the living room, extra pillows in the bedroom and bamboo furniture - Walking distance to the beach and the national park - Shared kitchen with essential utensils - Netflix in the living room was a bonus :)

Very relaxing spot, away from the beach hustle and nestled in cooling bush. Very much a home away from home and Kate is a wonderful host, providing outstanding breakfasts and lovely snacks and drinks.

“Happy homey hippie spot with great food”
Kate has done an amazing job (and continues to do so) on her dream eco guesthouse. It’s very homey, the bed was extremely comfortable, and lots of little touches made it all quite special (candles, hammocks, cushions, teas, motorbike etc…). As others have said, Kate can BAKE, and breakfast was amazing. And she gave us a free upgrade! So we were in the upstairs area and had our own deck/balcony and little kitchenette. It’s a really spacious set-up and we enjoyed watching the rain with a good book. We had a week up our sleeves to relax. Kep oceanfront is a fun, vibrant local scene, totally unique. Kate has good restaurant recommendations for further afield. We did a great day trip to Rabbit Island (if you have a group it’s cheaper to get your own boat and then you come and go as you please) and we liked the walk around the national park. I got sick from some oceanfront seafood and Kate gave us lots of remedies, and then had her driver take us to the doctor when I wasn’t better by the time we had to leave. She let us stay until the last minute. She was so kind, and the doctor was a godsend, so I’m eternally grateful we stayed here.

“Wonderful time”
Kate's kindness : you arrive in your room and fresh muffins are waiting for you !! In the evening, delicious cookies were waiting for me again. She also helped us to book our bus. Kate is a free spirit with beautiful values. You'll truly feel at home here, it's so comfy, the place is charming. The room was so delicate and I slept so well here. I will come back for sure and stay more time here. Delicious breakfast. We already miss your cooking, thank you again for the grilled cheese and cookies, it was perfect for the trip !

“This is truly a bed & breakfast spot! Comfy beds, good food, and a love for the natural enviroment.”
I liked how home-like it felt. Kate was such a kind and laid back host that it felt like I was walking into a home away from home. She is a superb baker and her breakfasts were filling and delicious! I liked having the animals around also and all the nature around to enjoy!

“Kep is a quiet listless place and this is the place to chill”
The beauty starts from the short rocky road to the entrance where you are greeted by three proud alluring dogs. Casa Kep is an eco friendly rustic beauty enveloped by graceful established foliage. Outside is so peaceful and calm. There are yoga mats and a selection of art bits, books to read or games. The two rooms off the shared space are a comfortable place to relax and chat to other guests that are staying or just watch movies all night. The breakfast was healthy and so delicious! We loved breakfast time with the other fur babies (4 cats) that seemed to like to hang out at this time of day. One is very talkative very sweet. Kep is a quiet listless place and this is the place to chill.

Hands down the best breakfast we had during our stay in cambodia. The outdoors and indoors were designed very well and invited to relax and wind down. The owner was very helpful and gave us all kinds of tips on the surroundings. The pool was nice and cold thanks to the tent over it.

Kate is a wonderful host :) she has created a tiny peaceful retreat that is perfect for recharging the batteries! Plenty of cute animals and Kate is always up for a chat which is nice after solo travelling for a while. Room was so comfy and had more than enough space and amenities. Great location being walking distance to both Kep Beach and the Crab markets. Had a great stay! Thanks Kate 😊

this guesthouse is such a hidden gem and oh so beautiful. Location is perfect - few minutes from the beach and short walk from the National park walk. Rooms were spacious, clean and personalised with lovely eco friendly amenities - such a lovely touch! we ended up eating here most days as Kate’s cooking was so delicious! we also loved having access to a chill out room for some evening activities (yoga/ art/ TV) and little kitchen. “Oasis”
Stunning property. Kate, the owner, is friendly and super helpful. She's created a very relaxing and welcoming space. There's art supplies, books, a shared kitchen stocked with late night snacks and coffee etc. The beds are super comfy! Kate's food is delicious, I would recommend the breakfast sandwich.

“Fun, homely atmosphere, lovely hostess”
This is not a "normal" hotel or guest house and is different from the other places we stayed. The place is a house that has been converted into a guest house with 3 guest rooms and a well-kept garden and the feeling is indeed homely. Kate, the owner of the place, is an incredibly kind host, accepting, explaining, inquiring, sharing and we had interesting conversations with her about the place, her work and life in Laos and she opened an interesting window for us and for that we are very grateful. We really enjoyed the stay, the homemade breakfast and especially the very special atmosphere thanks to Kate.

“Wonderful place to stay and hang out”
Fantastic place in a lovely spot just a few minutes walk down to the beach. Kate is a great host and she has poured her heart and soul into building up and renovating this lovely house. The room I had was lovely in its own annexe with kitchen and lounge area. One of the most comfortable beds I have ever known. There is air con and a fan close to the bed so you never feel uncomfortable. Breakfast is simply great. A really interesting selection of choices and it is served in the cafe / kitchen area that Kate herself built from scratch. There is a small free standing pool perfect for cooling down in and Kate has a tuk tuk driver that she uses who is friendly. 2 friendly dogs and a handful of cats are around but mostly don’t disturb you. Kate grows her own exotic fruit in the garden she is developing and this is served at breakfast. A whole load of information is contained in a brochure in the room and is a joy to peruse. Make sure you try Kate’s home produced cake it is super nice. Dining options immediately around the guest house are a little limited however there is a nice restaurant ( part of a hotel ) overlooking the market and a great friendly Italian just over the road from the guest house.
