“Wonderful stay with amazing hospitality”

I had an amazing stay and would like to sincerely thank the owners for their wonderful hospitality. They are very involved with their guests and truly care about making sure everyone has a great experience. The owners and the staff are always ready to help with anything you might need — from a well-prepared breakfast in the morning to arranging tours or enjoying a drink in the evening. The hotel also organizes very nice activities for guests, such as movie nights, live music or theme nights, which adds a fun and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are very clean and well maintained, and the restaurant and your balcony offers a beautiful view over the sea. The beach is also just a short walk away, which makes the location perfect. Another great advantage is that you can buy a wristband at the hotel that gives you access to the facilities of the hotel across the street, including the swimming pool, beach area, and other amenities — a really great deal. Everything is very well organized, and we would definitely recommend staying here! Ps. Picture is made from the hotel rooms balcony

I didn’t like anything, it’s scam And it’s been more then a month and am still waiting for refund

The hotel has a good location nearby the sea and nice garden,however I could say that it is low cost hotel, for same money or little more you can have better acomodation in kedwa. I spent 6 days there from which 3 days the hotel has no electricity. The breakfast was awful, except nice juice. Which was nice was Masai,he was really nice and smily :)

Very nice restaurant... enjoyed the view and its spatious rooms, that were well equipped. Sheltered, cosey garden/patio feel. Slow, and chill vibe. Calm. At walking distance from the beach and the town centre. Shops and restaurants down the road around the corner... Kind and attentive hotel manager and staff.

The view from the restaurant and out 1st floor room was amazing. The staff was like family to us after 8 days 😊

“Hidden jewel in quiet, green environment”

La Fontana is a small resort, hidden in green environment, quiet, just few minutes from the beach. Staff was quite professional, dedicated to their job, we had quick feedback at every question. Breakfast was excellent, plate full of tropical fruits, natural juices, it is an offer of high quality food. During our stay, for few times we also had a dinner here, and enjoyed seafood. Place is secure and protected, clean.

beautiful sea view restaurant, 5min walk to the beach, for 20$ you can get a wristband that grants you access to Kendwa rocks‘ sun beds throughout your stay. Very friendly staff!

“Promising but fading”

Family room was spacious and bathroom clean. Everything worked. Food was generally OK. Nothing exceptional. Nice restaurant area with sea views and occasional breeze. Staff friendly. The $20 pp option to use the Kendra Rocks sun loungers and pool was useful.

Homely environment with the famous Italian Restuarant serving delicious meals as its main selling point. Friendly staff and owners always helps make a stay more pleasant as was the case here. A good hot shower was very welcome 😁 Breakfast was a limited buffet and better than some.

Absolutely amazing place to stay in the beautiful beach of Kendwa. Ali, Manuel and Flavia are the best hosts you could ask for in Zanzibar. The food is simply delicious. From breakfast to lunch, dinner and special theme nights, it was always a yummy experience on a cozy terrace with stunning views. The room was spacious, clean with a great view. The staff and the general atmosphere made us feel welcome and comfortable at all times.

Very nice small hotel of traditional architecture, with a beautiful terrace where customers can enjoy nice food and cocktails and chill out in a relaxed atmosphere. The staff is friendly and smiley, always available and ready to help. Flavia and Manuel gave us advice and plenty of tips to fully enjoy our stay in Zanzibar. We appreciated in particular the quiet environment in the proximity of the best beach in Kendwa. Definitely recommended.

Great staff and wonderful owners! Felt very welcoming and really enjoyed my stay! The food was absolutely incredible! I hardly recommend La Fontana!!!!
