The hostess Marieke was friendly, polite and very nice. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere of the property was very relaxing. We were made to feel like we were staying at a friend's house.

Marieke was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. There was a shared kitchen and living room for the guests, so we were able to cook simple meals and relax in the living area. Marieke even provided us with fresh tomatoes, cucumbers and basil from her garden for our meal! The breakfasts were lovely too.

Our hostess went out of her way to accommodate our needs that included personally taxiing us to the local theatre - our destination of evening entertainment - and returned to pick us up later - all due to our walking limitations and parking problems. She further booked us into a lovely dining establishment for our golden wedding anniversary. Also, her breakfasts were both delightful and original. What's not to like!

The breakfasts were all very good and different every day usually incorporating local ingredients and an abundance of fresh fruit. Our host, Marieke, was more than accommodating. The property is a working farm and an absolute delight. We couldn’t have asked for anything better!

A comfortable, clean, and quiet room. Breakfast was delicious with omlettes and Dutch crepes, plus cappuccino coffees. Marieke was a very friendly host and made us feel right at home.

I booked last minute as a result of the fact I had to stay in town for a medical emergency. Despite this, our hosts James & Marieke were warm & welcoming. Our room was spotless & bed very comfortable. They also allowed the guests to make use of the kitchen, lounge, and laundry facilities, which were excellent. The location was great, within walking distance to the lake and some eateries. Marieke also recommended we visit Beach land, and a great little bakery called Bliss. Both were fab. I highly recommend this great B&B

Quiet location with a countryside feel yet close to the city. Excellent shared kitchen. Marieka is a very welcoming host giving us ideas about where to visit.

Everything. Nice setup with a large living, kitchen en the possibility to sit in the garden at the front in a private corner. It’s is all very well maintained, I thought it looked was just done but it wasn’t. The room was very clean and had a comfortable king size bed. The tv has internet so you can watch Netflix with your own account. The shower had a steady regular temperature and had more than enough water pressure. What we liked too is how quiet it was, there was an other family but we never heard any of them. Marieke is a perfect host, she really does the extra mile to make your stay very pleasant. And she makes delicious breakfasts with enough to choose from. Don’t go here for one night, book more it is really worth it!
