“Ghost hotel in ghost town.”
It was ok, but tbh we were quite disappointed. We booked this so we would have a balcony and got basically nothing. It was tired and felt like a ghost hotel in a small ghost town. Too expensive. And no staff at any time just makes it’s more scary.

“Great for a quiet time at the beach, but could get noisy if you have the loud neighbours.”
The room is leaning more towards spacious for an average Japanese room. You can hear the waves of the ocean during the day and we liked the fact that the laundry machine can be used freely. Note that this side of Kawana is a quiet place and has hardly any facilities during spring. You need to climb up the hill to visit restaurants and shops.

“It’s fine for what you pay for. A few tweaks and this could be a 10/10.”
Comfortable beds, good WiFi and bathroom facilities were excellent. Easy to find and access the room via the key safe.

“We had a great time!”
Location is great! 1 min walk to the beach, location is super quiet. but you probably want to drive to the hotel, because there is not many convenient stores or restaurants around. It is very easy to communicate with the owner. Room is big enough for two people, bathroom is new and spacious, bed is comfortable.

“Great place for a base place.”
Its a great place for a base, easy to drive down to Shimoda ( you will need a car to stay there). Dolophin beach is great for families with small kids, no waves, plenty of fish too see as well.
