I had a wonderful stay at Rooftop Studio and 2BHK Apartments. The apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The rooms were bright and cozy, with plenty of natural light. The rooftop area was amazing and offered beautiful city views, making it a perfect place to relax. The location is excellent—right in the heart of Kathmandu, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and attractions. The host was friendly, helpful, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kathmandu. I would definitely stay here again! 😊🏡

“Lovely apartment in an excellent location with very kind hosts”

I loved my stay at the rooftop! The Appartment is in an excellent location, close to Thamel and Durbar square, yet away from the crowds. It has great facilities, including the roof terrace, a very comfortable bed, kitchen, AC, washing machine, wifi, bottled water. The father and son who manage it are so kind and helpful, they really go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay. They’ve looked after my bag while I’ve gone trekking, helped organise taxis and left me delicious yoghurt in the fridge. I will always choose to stay here whenever I’m in Kathmandu!

We had such an amazing stay here! It made our last days in Nepal all the better. The hosts were very accommodating and kind and we were able to communicate easily with them. The studio has a washing machine which is a great touch and so helpful and we also loved that it had a well equipped kitchen. The wifi was so fast and made my job online much easier! It’s in the centre of Thamel but the specific passageway the building is located is so quiet so had no problem with noise.

Very comfy and well thought out. Great air con and wifi. The kitchen was basic but perfect. Mega mart was a 15 minute walk for a good choice of groceries. Lovely to have a washing machine too! The father and son were both super helpful and attentive.

“Affordable accommodation in the most happening place in KTM!”

Second time staying, lots of positive: very Spacious, clean, bright natural light in all rooms, had two portable heaters which were perfect as nights were cold. Balcony in kitchen and bedroom next to kitchen. Fully equipped kitchen with all utensils, cutleries and dishes/bowls etc, fridge with freezer compartment, good working stove and fully working hot showers is a HUGE plus, working washing machine really good too as going around KTM you can get your clothes dusty/dirty so washing them was a breeze, international plugs in all rooms so any type can fit, they had ironing board as well, which was another big plus! Living room’s sofa very comfortable and as seen in the picture. Nice decors in there as well, authentic displays ❤️ Property is very close to shops and groceries places and Thamel only a short distance walk away. Gated property with parking on site. Couldn’t have asked for a better host as they were very accommodating and attentive, very responsive and friendly. Will definitely book with them again in future!

Amazing value for money. Also the location is perfect. Next to Durbar and thamel, but far enough to have a quiet night's sleep. Also, the beds are quite comfy, something not easily found in Nepal

“Comfortable and safe stay in central Kathmandu”

My friend and I (both female) had an amazing stay here. The host is lovely and was always readily available by WhatsApp. He also gave us many good recommendations on things to do in the city and was always very helpful. The apartment is spacious, clean and located in a safe building. All the necessities were provided, including hot showers, toilet paper, towels and drinking water. The apartment is located walking distance from all main sights. We also enjoyed the restaurant Coffee Baari that was only 200 m away, they serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee. For further trips I recommend downloading the taxi app Pathao to avoid getting scammed by drivers. For walking tour of the area I recommend Shivas free walking tour.

The Studio rooftop flat was very spacious, private, lots of windows letting in the sunlight, the large terrace a big bonus as we could also hang our clothes to dry, good working washing machine and fully equipped kitchen. The studio also had AC which can be used as a heater as well which was amazing for the cold nights of Kathmandu! Host were very responsive and gave clear communications. Mrs Host (I believe) gave us freebies, very delicious so thank you so much!

The stay was very comfortable. The apartment had everything I needed, even a washing machine, which is rare in Nepal. It was big and in a quiet lane inside a closed area, so I always felt safe and private. The host was always easy to reach and helpful. Everything was always clear and on time🙂🤝

Very spacious apartment with cozy beds and a huge kitchen and living room. Also the hosts are very helpful and try to accommodate any wishes. You can even leave a backpack there for a few days if you wish to go trekking
