“A Peaceful Stay Beyond Expectations!”

Our stay at Villa Gioia was a pleasant surprise! It was even more beautiful than we expected. After reading some older reviews, I was a bit hesitant about the condition of the villa, but in reality everything was perfectly maintained, clean, and fully functional. Each morning, we enjoyed our coffee in the beautiful garden, feeling a deep sense of peace. The location, near the center of the island, allowed us to explore beaches easily. The closest one, Alykes, is only a 5-minute drive and offers many beach bars and shops. It’s recommended to have a car to fully enjoy the experience! It’s ideal for slow living, where every moment flows calmly. Definitely, we would recommend this property, and we would come back!

We stayed at this beautiful villa for a couple of days and it truly felt like a hidden gem. From the very first moment, there is a sense of calm and authenticity that is hard to find. The house has a unique character, with its stone details, warm atmosphere, and a feeling that it has been cared for with love. What we enjoyed the most was the outdoor space. Having breakfast in the garden surrounded by greenery and silence was simply magical. In the evening, the soft lighting creates such a peaceful and cozy ambiance that makes you want to slow down and just be present. You can really feel that the space has been recently refreshed and thoughtfully prepared. Everything feels clean, balanced, and welcoming. Furthermore, the location is great if you want to explore Zakinthos island. This is not just a place to stay, but a place to relax, reconnect, and experience a more authentic side of Zakynthos. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for something genuine and peaceful.

Lovely, spacious villa with beautiful, tranquil and secluded garden. Owner Nikos is a great guy. Only a short walk to a supermarket with butcher, lovely bakery and cafe near the village church.

The complete vibe & every single detail in this beautiful home was thought through. The owner was a great source of guidance in regards to restaurants, beaches & bars. Very welcoming, available at all times and easy to talk too. The home was very clean , the backyard was a charming garden that we only dream of.

It is an amazing house with a beautiful lovely garden. We got all the necessaries for a comfort living. The location is perfect - quiet village, 20 minutes away by walk from Alykes Beach area with bars and restaurants. The small supermarket is located just near by (5 minutes of walk). Separate huge thanks to Nikos, owner of this amazing place. He was always available when we got a questions or when we needed a help with arranging our tourism activities.

I will start with our host Nikos 😊. Perfect!!! House, perfect!!! Garden, perfect!!! Location, perfect!!! Restaurants around Katastari, all recommended from Nikos, perfect!!! There is shop for everything, that you want to buy very close. And finally... My kids are inlove with poofs in the garden😊!
