The place was amazing. the staff was very helpful and kind. Their chef was on vacation but they ordered dinner for us It was a very happy thing. and they know about the city and they told us which time was good for visiting and what road we must use.

“Not very pleasant”
Place was run down. Room was dry, stained bed linen, stained metres, dirty toilet. Have seen very little attention to health and safety in rooms (wires were exposed next to the wall mounted fans). We were told that the Kitchen was closed (have however seen some other hotel guests having food in the restaurant)☹️

Rooms were simple, big balcony and bath room. Restaurant was great 900 per person for full curry by a great chef.

“Value for Money”
We used to stay here when we visit kataragama since i was a little kid. There is a improvement in the place now. Food is great.facilities are value for money.

“Great place to stay for a safari.”
Helpful and knowledgeable staff, very willing to help and go beyond their own schedule to make sure everything went well. We went to Kataragama only for the safari i Yala, and the manager helped us set up things. The rooms also had ac which is nice, and the hotell offered laundry service.
