“Calm, relaxing, breathtakingly beautiful”
We had an unforgettable stay at Katakolo 180 Sea view house. The house is located on a stunning seemingly endless beach. You literally open the door towards the porch and there are the soft sands and mesmerising sea at your doorstep. Falling asleep with the sound of the sea is yet another great thing about this house. If you are looking for a calm, relaxing place where you can enjoy the beauty of the beach and sea, this is your place! The host is great, welcoming, kind and friendly. He was readily answering all our questions. The house itself is cosy and you feel comfortable and at ease away from your own home. The kitchen is equipped with all you need in order to prepare your own meals. Just a couple of minutes by car you can reach Pyrgos or Katakolon with plenty of supermarkets, restaurants and bars. You can also enjoy your own outdoor sunbeds and umbrella right infront of the house on the beach.

“Unpleasant experience! Not worth the price, dirty and badly maintained. We left the place”
After a long drive with kids, we arrived to the apartment which was difficult to find. There was an unleashed big friendly dog, but our kids were afraid of him, and the owner did not take him away ,so the kids were too afraid to go out because of him. The apartment was not clean, dirt in the corners, in the kitchen sink and dust on the furniture, the carpets were very dirty, the linen and the blankets were very worn. The worst was that after an hour we spent there we found a big dead bug on our bed. We couldn't take it anymore so we left for another place. It is true that if it was one or two things to improve we posible will wait for the owner to take care of, but it was too much for us. It was difficult to communicate. We left only a few hours after we arrived, and after a conversation with the place and booking as well, unfortunately we didn't receive any refund for this unpleasant experience, and we paid full price for all 3 nights.

The host was quiet friendly and willing to help. The appartment is located on the beach, which is great if you d like to spend time on the beach, on the other hand it doesnt have anything nearby (walking distance) for spending the evening. Therefore you have to use a car.
