“Lovely apartment in an ideal location”

We were delighted with this lovely apartment ideally situated at the edge of Kasperske Hory. Immaculately clean and comfortable, it had a quiet rural feel despite being on a road out of the town (helped by the enthuasistic local roosters!). There were circular walking routes through the beautiful countryside within a few steps of the front door, whilst the centre of the town was just 5 minutes walk in the other direction. The apartment was spacious and the kitchen area well stocked (we particularly appreciated the coffee machine!). It was great to have a radio as well as TV which is now sadly rare in most hotels and apartments, plus an extremely comfortable sofa on which to listen/watch! Although we visited a few weeks after the summer season had closed, Kasperske Hory had several good restaurants/bars where one could eat Czech food and drink the excellent local beer, a couple of well-stocked local grocery shops, and a fantastic bakery. It was a pleasure to meet Pavel, the friendly and helpful owner of Nad Zlatym Potokem, at the close of our visit. We'd certainly stay again.
