“Gorgeous Greek villa in beautiful scenery”

Gorgeous, picturesque Greek villa! We absolutely loved our stay at the property. Had everything we needed to feel like a home away from home. Hosts were very responsive when we had questions. A nice quiet neighbourhood. Loved the hot tub and loungers!!

“Excellent”

the location was very nice - I recommend it for a short period though as for a family you don't have a proper wardrobe to stuff all clothes - and where we stayed - it's a big room with the bed. The kitchen is very well equipped. Bathroom in the first house is big. I would recommend the hosts to put some hooks for towels. The hosts were very friendly, they left us a basket full of snacks and juices the first day.

“A homey stay in Santorini”

Kiki was such a superstar host that helped us with sooo much! She sent us detailed recommendations and even helped store our luggage as we had a later flight. The apartment itself was so clean and well-kept, with stellar, high-quality appliances and amenities. Love the abundance of clean kitchenware, towels, and hotel toiletries. The apartment is also simply just so beautiful - esp the yard! Perfect for a night in to chill and relax in Santorini.

“Beautiful home in traditional village which is walking distance to Thira”

The property was as good as the photos - very high quality furnishings, pot plants and beautiful decor. Decent aircon, good shower, and comfy bed too. We were met as pre-arranged, and taken to the property with no hassle. A lot of care has gone into making the place pretty and comfortable. Also great that there are sun loungers that get sun most of the day, as well as plenty of shade in the courtyard. The property is actually two houses but is only hired out to one group at a time, so the courtyard is private to you regardless of group size/ whether you are using one house or both. Karterados, being more pedestrianised, is quieter than other places in Santorini, and much more traditional. Although the occaisonal scooter passes the place, the narrowness of the streets eliminates the constant roar of the quad bikes that has spoilt other places. Central Thira (with the Caldera views, tons of restaurants, bars, cafes) is just a 20 minute walk away and the beach on the other side of the island 30 minutes' walk. There is also a supermarket within 10 minutes' walk, and plenty of cheap, regular buses from Thira to pretty much everywhere on the island, so no need for a car.

My stay at Bettys house was Amazing, The location and the property itself was perfect for a quick atv ride into town and city centre fira only 10-15 mins the property well kept Bettys daughter was so accommodating and helpful, she sat with e and explained all the places to go and visit as it was my first trip alone to another country she made me feel so welcome and comfortable. The personal touches in the home we so thoughtful and it came fully equipped with everything i needed for my stay. She even contacted me to help organise transport too and from the station, it really made the whole journey nice and easy Betty takes really good care of her home and the property looks exactly like the pictures , its honestly a beautiful house in a quiet area with an amazing cute hot tub and fantastic little sun bathing area on the roof, all cute details of the house, with a nice sized living area with everything to make it feel like a home. I had an amazing time here and highly recommend Bettys house to all that visit santorini, fantastic value for money and very well kept.
