It's basic, nothing fancy really. It's a little old stylish, nit warm water on shower, but otherwise all good there.

The location was perfect, right in the centre and we were able to park our vehicle on the street outside which was quite quiet. The manager spoke English and was welcoming and accommodating, allowing us to change our room, which was a good size with comfortable beds. He also offered us an omelette for breakfast which was quite plentiful.

Staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Location is excellent, a short walk to the castle. Wifi and hot water worked well. I get the feeling this hotel doesn't cater to foreign tourists but more to local working men who are passing through the area. So, it's important to have your expectations in check when visiting. The standard is different. For us, it's fine. This is why we travel. To experience another way of life. But for others I know it might be a bit more sensitive. Either way, for the low price it's OK and we were comfortable for our 3-night stay.

Kars has a lovely historic center and the hotel is very centrally located. This must have been a wonderful hotel… once. Nowadays it has lost much of its charme. The rooms are very run down and especially the bathroom with its mouldy shower is unacceptable. The delicious breakfast and friendly staff, however, cannot make up for the desolate state of the hotel.

Central location. Reception was nice but the info they gave us about taking the bus to Ani Ruins was not very accurate.

Friendly staff. Authentic breakfast - if you go into town you can find the market where they buy their cheese. Kars is a funky town, worth a visit.

Very kind, friendly staff. Outstanding breakfast and value for money. Great location in Kars, in the town centre and a short walk up to the citadel.

Just a jump to the good restaurants and the Otogar Bus station and 1.6 km to the train station.The castle was just 5 Minuten away. Good breakfast, we ordered omelettes. Our suite was very large.
