“Beautiful riverside hotel with great food and atmosphere”

We absolutely loved our stay and only wish we had booked more than one night. The hotel is located in a beautifully renovated historic building right on the river. Our room was on the top floor, with exposed wooden beams and charming furniture that made it feel very cozy and unique. Although not large, it was comfortable and full of character. The restaurant was excellent, with delicious food and beautiful presentation. In good weather, guests can enjoy breakfast or dinner on the terrace overlooking the river. We also loved the large green grounds around the hotel, which are perfect for relaxing, walking, or simply enjoying the peaceful riverside setting. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and tasty options. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Karlštejn Castle and would gladly stay here again.

The place is magical. The staff is great, especially Diana from the restaurant. The beds are very comfortable. The atmosphere and the nature around are very relaxing.

Stunning location and suitably away from the hullabaloo of Karlstejn castle ‘town’, which was crowded and ‘touristy’ even out of season. The price I guess of such a stunning castle / location. Breakfast was lovely, as were the attentive staff, including the chap on reception, who was very helpful. We were really just passing through on our way back to Prague after a bit of a tour of the Czech Republic, and it would be nice to stay for longer next time. Ideally positioned close to Prague also, which was comfortably less than an hour’s drive away. Lovely hotel building and grounds and traditional style. Would definitely recommend.

Great location and beautiful hotel, great for a romantic weekend away. The executive rooms are comfortable and very spacious. The view of the river is amazing ad the sound of the water will relax you fully.

Fab corner bath with limitless hot water. Nice, warm room even though it was -9 outside.

“An unexpected jewel found in Karlstejin”

Fantastic location with easy access to the surounding attractions and by foot. Being there in autumn meant it was quiet and relaxing. My family had a great time. The staff were exceptional and friendly. I enjoyed watching the herons fishing in the morning from the island.

The bottle opener was missing, the coffee machine didn't work, the preparation was incomplete, the mini bar fridge wasn't turned on beforehand. The glass-walled bathroom and toilet aren't intimate. There was no ventilation either.

I was so well looked after by the wonderful man at the reception that night. He was so helpful. I had a delicious meal in the restaurant. The location and views of the river were beautiful. I would recommend.

The private wellness was perfect. Really worth the money and very relaxing. Staff were super nice.

A lovely, quiet and peaceful place on the river. The breakfast is very good and includes everything you need, for example gluten-free bread. The restaurant on site is also very good and very reasonably priced. The staff at reception are responsive to every request. Know in advance that you are arriving at an older style hotel and then the enjoyment is perfect.

It was a very pleasant stay. I wish we could stay longer. Amazing nature, beautiful hotel and great people. Really good for a trip not far away from Prague with easy reach.

A beautiful hotel in a beautiful and quiet location. The service was nice and the breakfast good. The rooms had everything you needed (from TV, air conditioning, via minibar) and we also had a view of the raft, it was great to fall asleep to the sound of the water :)
