The host really goes the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. Fully equipped apartment, including drinking water, washing machine, insecticide, condiments, great towels, awesome office chair. It's an old compound but inside apartment everything is well-kept. Karen is safe and great for walking/running around. Walking distance to Waterfront mall and Chinese superstore. I thought gym was included but my bad, a commercial gym is also walking distance (too expensive though). 100% recommended, surely be back!

The apartment is very conveniently located next to Karen mall and close to Nairobi National Park. Excellent place to stay.

We loved that Jacque was a super-responsive host and very supportive when we needed help. The water cooler was a pleasant addition. We liked that it was on a private road and that there was a caretaker on site who was very helpful indeed.

The apartment is well fitted and convenient. It is in a quiet neighborhood. The lady has put great thought into making it a very cozy place. The utensils are abundantly placed. She was kind enough to leave eggs and milk in the fridge which is a hard find on this end. There is a washer which makes things very convenient. Her towels are huge and greatly absorbent. She has a dining table and her living room furniture is greatly comfortable. The lady is very thoughtful and has used a rustic place to achieve a certain appeal.

The property had easy accessibility to nearby facilities, had all the amenities we needed and good wifi.

We liked our apartment and bedroom very much and the location in Karen, near Waterfront is ideal for tourists with kids.

Arabella is a lovely one bedroom apartment owned and managed by Jacquev  in the southeastern suburb of Karen, (not far from the Giraffe Centre and Bomas of Kenya). The apartment decor shows a woman's touch, especially in the bedroom. The bedding is comfortable, everything is clean, it's very well equipped with all the equipment you want including gas hob, cable TV, washing machine, even an electric jaffle maker! Jacque and Naiomi are great hosts, quick to respond if you need something. A huge plus for the apartment is that it is only a 5 minute walk from the Waterfront Mall with a big modern Naivas supermarket, restaurants, cafes, etc. 

“Clean, comfortable and convenient!”

The property was in a great location and we used it as a lay over between flights. It was in a safe and secure compound, had everything we would need (including drinking water) and it was very clean and comfortable. All staff involved were very helpful, polite and available when needed. We would have loved to have stayed longer.

Everything about the place was great. It was cozy and well maintained.
