“Clean, comfortable, and helpful guest house”
Tündük Guest House was an excellent place to stay in Karakol, run by a very friendly and helpful family. The rooms and very new, clean and comfortable, and breakfast is plentiful and varied each day. They also happily stored our bags while we went trekking, and arranged us a driver back to Bishkek for a good price. I would recommend this guest house to anyone visiting Karakol!

“Great stay with super friendly hosts”
It was a great pleasure to stay at the tündük guest house. The house itself is new and the beds were very convenient. Everything was perfectly clean. The host family was extremely kind and even arranged a pickup at the Kazakhstan border for us. As we went for a 6-day hike and stayed afterwards again at the guest house, we could leave our luggage there and even got some of our clothes washed by the hosts. Next time, we will stay again at the tündük guest house.

“It’s a nice stay for 1 or 2 nights”
Comfy bed, but not very clean room overall. Very noisy from the big road just down. Host is relatively nice, it’s a family house. It’s ok for 1 or 2 nights.

“Best experience ever”
The Lady of the accomodation was GREAT, very knowledge, helped with transport etc, good breakfast, you can use the kitchen and fridge, I felt very homey all the time, she can make laundry etc. There is two shops and a gym very near and many buses run in front of house. In big hotels everything is formal, but here you can see normal life and meet real person.

We enjoyed our stay in Karakol Yurt Lodge a lot. We spent more then a week in the area and came back several times. The rooms were always very clean and comfortable. Aygulu and her family were a very friendly hosts, who helped us out with planning our hiking trips, with storing our luggage finding the proper Mashrutka and organising a driver for our next destination as well.
