My stay at D&N Guesthouse in Karakol was one of the highlights of my time in Kyrgyzstan. Travelling in Kyrgyzstan requires patience and an understanding that things do not always run smoothly. Power cuts happen, infrastructure can be challenging, and Karakol itself often feels like stepping back in time. That is exactly why finding a place like D&N Guesthouse makes such a difference. The guesthouse is clean, comfortable and very well managed. The owners and staff are genuinely kind, welcoming and always willing to help. They create a warm atmosphere that makes you feel at home, something that is especially valuable after long days of travelling. The breakfast was excellent, the rooms were comfortable, and everything was arranged with care and attention to detail. The garden and common areas provide a peaceful place to relax, and the location is convenient for exploring Karakol and the surrounding mountains. Kyrgyzstan may not always be an easy country to travel in, but places like D&N Guesthouse are a reminder of the hospitality and friendliness that make the journey worthwhile. I would gladly stay here again and can highly recommend D&N Guesthouse to anyone visiting Karakol.

Very beautiful accommodation in a garden with trees and views to the mountains. Very comfortable and clean. The area is calm for sleeping, safe and 10 - 15 min. to walk to the city center. The hosts are very kind and helpful. Everything works well, hot water, internet, el. kettle in the room and kitchen corner.

I especially liked the relaxed nature of the property. Very chill. After spending many stays in hostels and shared rooms this was excellent. All the amenities that I could have needed. Grocery store wasn't far and could get the basics for the suite.

Safe parking for our motorcycles (and cars). Friendly and helpfull hosts, who speak English. Bright room. Fast and stable WiFi.

The location is perfect, since it is close to town and only 20 min away from the Karakol ski resort. The owners are super kind. They are willing to help you with everything you need, and very happy to answer to your questions. We were here during winter and although it was pretty cold outside the room was super warm and super cozy and comfy. I highly recomment this place.
