The house is absolutely fabulous. We wanted a traditional Japanese experience and were blown away. It completely exceeded our expectations. The first impression was the easy parking, as we had a rental car. Then there was the authentic Japanese garden, complete with a beautiful koi pond as a backdrop for pictures. The host went above and beyond to hand over the keys. She is exceptional and we are so thankful for her warm hospitality. We were much later than expected, because of a flight delay and getting lost in Nagoya, which was a lovely experience, as we discovered things we would otherwise not have! About the house: It is the real deal. It felt as if we were in an epic Japanese movie. The attic is literally a museum. Everything is immaculately presented and we were spoilt for choice. We could not believe our luck. I am humbled to have had this wonderful experience, thank you!

The house is beautiful and the owner is great. We all fell in love with the house and will definitely go there again as soon as w we can. The ground floor has all the amenities you need, and up on the first floor there were extra sofas, musical instruments, and beautiful national dress from different countries.

I had a truly wonderful experience staying here. The host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The house itself is amazing — spotlessly clean, well-organized, and full of charm, with a lovely little garden that adds such a peaceful touch. It has everything you could possibly need, and the location is convenient — just a short walk from nishi-kani station, and not too far from Nagoya. I genuinely felt at home during my stay, and I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone. I’d love to come back again, and I encourage others to stay here too.

“Wonderful”

The place is old and beautiful Japanese house. Very big and well decorated and equipped. Realy nice with beautiful garden and calm atmosphere. The owner is wonderful woman. With a lot of good will and she is very helpful. She took us by her car from and to the stations, and also to a very good coffee house, so we could explore the area although we didn't have a car. It really quite unique and we have many good words to say about her. The area is really green and nice with Inuyama as the closest city in which there are beautiful old streets, nice castle and close open museum. We had a great time there especially for the worm hospitality and beautiful house.

The rooms are very spacious and there is a fully equipped kitchen for cooking. There is also a garden and small pond which makes the place looks very relaxing. Very traditional house.
