Right in the middle of the shops. The decor was lovely and the cottage spacious. The gardens were Japanese style.

“Far Eastern style Lodge with a touch of class.”
Right in the middle of the high street this lodge is ideally placed for cafes and dining places, as well as being close to the Nature reserve for kangaroo spotting and for swimming in the river underneath Hampden Bridge.

I had "Trunks" cottage. There are 3 different rooms with different names. Trunks was a large downstairs apartment....with STEPS up, though. Fabulous Bathroom with Bath and great, walk in Shower. Big living area, and full kitchen. It's all just up a short walk from the main road in Kangaroo Valley. The Pub is over the road. And serves food. MOST of the day. They stop serving between 3-5 pm. There are a few beautiful little cafes/restaurants just across the road. And one, to buy basic provisions. It's a beautiful, peaceful little village. The Owner, was a lovely, friendly woman.

“Best place to stay when visiting Kangaroo Valley”
This is my new happy place in Kangaroo Valley. I have been visiting for 17 years to enjoy the golf course, animals, nature and heritage of the area. I will definitely return to this haven in the heart of the area.
