The property was beautiful. We loved reading about the history of the family residence. Rooms were spacious and shared spaces were good. Pool and yard were lovely to sit in.

Absolutely gorgeous property! Lovely garden & pool area. Rooms were great sizes & the outside dining area was big enough for a group of 9 (including 2 small children) to eat. They had a high chair which was much appreciated! Staff were so lovely and accommodating. The breakfast we had here the morning of one of our family members birthdays was the best we had in Sri Lanka! The bbq was also very special. The kids loved the pastas. Thank you so much!!!

Beautiful old family home with lots of history. The staff were amazing and really looked after us. They cooked incredible meals for us, especially the night we asked them to do a BBQ. One of the best meals we ate on our trip. Would highly recommend.

“A well kept house stay.”

We booked the whole house. Enjoyed having the pool to ourselves and the kids being able to play without disturbing others. The pool has a toddler pool on the side that is the perfect depth. The gardens are small but immaculate. You can watch peacock in the field below the house from the fence line and hear their calls. The house is clean and well kept. Aircon works in bedrooms, bathrooms are modern enough. A bathroom off each bedroom is handy. There is a cook available if wanted - we had our own car so ate out and/or with extended family. The staff are attentive and helpful. Each room has its own key to lock the room from inside and outside

Beautiful residence not far frim the city center. Personel is outstandung, making sure you feel comfortable and organize everything you desire. The bungalow is relaxed with private for everyone.

Loved everything about our stay here. What a delight! Staff were absolutely wonderful. Nothing was a hassle, very welcoming and friendly. The home was so lovely. We ordered the Sri Lankan breakfast one morning, and it was fabulous, a great way to start our trip, and learn about the different dishes. Highly recommend this property when visiting Kandy.

“Home away from home”

This residence is exceptional. From arrival to departure all the staff were friendly willing to help and flexible. My partner and I enjoy an early coffee at our home and looked forward to something not Nescafe. Spoke to the kitchen guys, "no problem", 6am? No problem. Freshly brewed while I watched chopping of onions and grinding of fresh coconut. Nothing was a problem! Meals, hot, fresh tasty, varied. Breakfast and dinner both excellent. Nice pool liked by the children. Pretty garden. Second time in Sri Lanka and I guess I won't make it again in this life. Hopefully my children and their children will return to stay with the Surveyor's crew.

This property is large, spacious, beautifully furnished and has lovely grounds and pool area. Perfect for our group of 7 to swim and relax after a day of travelling!

“A wonderfully unique and special stay”

As a party of 6 we have been exploring Sri Lanka for several weeks and our 2 night stay at the Surveyors Bungalow has been the most special so far. Nalin and his team catered for our every need and made us feel like we were superstars. The evening BBQ was delicious which we enjoyed in the beautiful garden setting, matched only by the extensive breakfasts. We only wish that we had more time to be able to stay for longer. Highly recommended.

Neat and clean place, swimming pool, friendly and helpful staffs

Greta location, peaceful, lots of room and the pool right out back. Perfect for the kids. Each room had a/c. The housekeeper was super friendly and great food cooked for breakfast!
