The apartment is wonderful and has everything you could possibly need. We were able to wash and dry our clothes. Bill is very caring, and whenever we needed anything, he always replied and made sure everything went smoothly. Thank you for such a wonderful welcome!

This might sound weird to people who haven't travelled around Japan too much, but the pillows were fantastic. If you know, you know. Location is central, but not too central, so the main attractions are fairly close, but it's a little outside of what seem to be the main traffic routes in the city.

This was a great apartment it’s run by someone who understands travelling and what travellers need. It was the best equipped apartment we’ve had. Spotless well organised and comfortable . Easy walks and bus routes to many sites across Kanazawa. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Great pub and music bar round the corner.

The apartment was cosy and comfortably sized, with an elevator that made moving our large luggage effortless. The nearby reserved parking lots were extremely convenient. The space was thoughtfully laid out and well‑stocked with essentials — including complimentary bottled water. The beds, including the sofa bed, were very comfortable; the kitchen was well equipped; and most appreciated of all, there was a washer and dryer. Not forgetting our wonderful host, Bill, whose hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable.

A very spacious and comfortable apartment. Close to a supermarket and convenience store. Well equipped kitchen. Easy walking to many of the sights around Kanazawa but buses also convenient. Also very happy to have a washing machine and dryer. Host very responsive and easy to communicate with.

The apartment size, attention to details, anticipation of guests' needs, cleanliness, comfortable bedding, individual room temperature control, stocked up fridge with still and sparkling water (how thoughtful of that) and rice for those who wants to cook, spacious room, great location - not in the city centre but within walking distance to many attractions, love walking to the river side, easy access to free parking lot, responsive host, great communication.

This is our second time staying in W&M house and it certainly lived up to our first stay! It’s only a short walk to the samurai village and the the busses from the station are regular and very accessible! Bill is incredibly accommodating and has set up the room with everything you need for an amazing stay. On a clear day, a few beers on the rooftop made this my favourite stay in Japan! This is an excellent place if you’re craving a spacious 1 bedroom apartment after staying in a shoebox in Tokyo!

Our host Bill was friendly, informative and assisted us outside normal expectations. He met us on arrival and provided information regarding transport, facilities and more. Transport is at the door step and the apartment was spacious and well appointed. The property and Bill's service far exceeded our expectations.

Great little apartment, quiet, comfortable, good shower. Sofa bed was solid and comfortable too. Arriving by car was super easy with the car park right behind the building, and Bill met us in person to show us in. There’s a cute little cafe next door for an easy morning start to the day and a big supermarket close by. Good walking distance to a lot of sites.
