Kimie-San was a lovely host who went out of her way to make us feel at home! The breakfast was delicious too. If you are lucky, you might even get a firefly sighting at night.

The host, Kimie, and her friends and neighbours were great company, we spent new years' night with them and other guests, like a ready-made group of friends. We had great fun. The house is lovely and a pleasant walk from the town centre (there is also a bus, but we mostly walked).

Kimie was absolutely lovely with good recommendations and the place was very charming (especially the terrace which we used for breakfasts and night snacks). The queen size bed was very comfy and everything was super clean. It was a very nice moment staying at Kimie's !

The property is situated in a nice area, away enough from the centre to feel like you are in a more silent area but close enough to get there walking. It is close to a bus station so even with luggages it is relatively easy to get around. The host, Kimie, is an absolutely beautiful person. She made traditional breakfast for us every morning, and we had that at her little terrace, a perfect way to start the day. Everyone in the accommodation was nice so we were even able yo connect with the other travellers. For a small fee you can handle your laundry, the room was clean and cozy. Relatively small for 2 people with big luggages but that was no problem for us. The rooms have aircon, so even in the crazy heat and humidity we were sleeping comfortably. Thanks to Kimie and her kindness, we had a wonderful couple of nights there!

The authentic Japanese breakfast was light and exquisite, and the host Kimie was an absolute delight.

Everything was great - the location is very convenient, just a short walk from the train station, with beautiful surroundings and nature all around. It was such a treat to enjoy breakfast with a peaceful view. On top of that, the Japanese breakfast was outstanding. Thank you so much for this lovely stay!

It is a 10 minute walk from the train station, the rooms are spacious with shared bathroom and breakfast provided each morning, cooked by Kimie herself. The beds are comfortable. Kimie is extremely welcoming and accommodating, she is extremely kind and easy to talk to, nothing is too much for her. A very safe and enjoyable space for a solo traveller.

Kimie was such a lovely kind person who went out of her way to make me feel welcome. I loved the super comfortable bed and the delicious breakfast that kimie prepared for me. I was getting to the last part of my time in Japan and kimie made the ending to my trip very special. Thankyou so much kimie.

Lounge was cozy and good to enjoy outside river view. Terrace space was good. Breakfast in the terrace is recommendable. Shower room and toilet were shared but clean.

Kimie was a fantastic host who really took care of us. Our daughter had a chest infection whilst we were at the bnb and Kimie communicated with the hospital and taxi firm to arrange transport. We couldn't have felt better looked after.

The hostess was amazing! She spoke conversational English and was always so sweet and kind. Some of the profits from the BnB go towards helping children with food insecurities. She makes a delicious homemade and traditional Japanese breakfast. The view from her backyard is breathtaking. There are two rooms that face towards the stream, one is a bunk bed and the other a double bed. Make sure to get those rooms if you want a peaceful view.

Kimie San is very friendly, warm hearted person, makes me feel at home. Also, the scenery is really beautiful and relaxing. Good location, just right for a slow walk about 20 mins

Kimi-san's warm hospitality makes you feel like being at home. Traditional Japanese breakfast was delicious. Guesthouse is well kept and clean. Easily one of the best stay ever.

The owner Kimie san’s hearty welcome gave me a time of feeling at home. The location is good for you to enjoy a day in Kamakura at your own pace. The breakfast is served in traditional Japanese style and really nice. By staying at her B&B you can help Kimie san’s Children’s cafe.

Everything! It felt like staying with family. Upon arrival Kimie greeted us kindly, she showed us the facilities (very well equipped and clean). During our stay in our room she provided us a hot water bag to make the bed more comfortable. The daily breakfast was also complete, delicious and nutritious. Kimie is a very kind and fun person, she invited us to social activities when the opportunity arose and we had a lot of fun. The house is a bit far from the train station but can easily be reached via bus from the station. It is located near the beautiful bamboo forest and there is also a convenience store nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it. We felt at home and Kimie’s hospitality was superb.
