Overview
The family-run Koulouris Apartments & Studios is set in a garden 350 metres from the beach of Kolatsos in Kalyves. It features self-catered accommodation with free Wi-Fi and balcony overlooking the garden and mountains. Taverns and shops are 750 metres away. A kitchenette with cooking facilities, electric kettle and fridge is included in all the air-conditioned units at the Koulouris. Each has a dining area and TV. Chania Town is a 15-minute drive. Souda Port is within a 5-minute drive. BBQ facilities and free private parking are provided in the property.

“Lucky find in Kalyves – great stay at Koulouris with a lovely pool”
We discovered the village of Kalyves by chance – we had previously stayed nearby, but decided to remain in Kalyves, and luckily, one room became available at Koulouris. That was a real stroke of luck, as the place is usually fully booked. The location is perfect – just a few steps from the beach, a supermarket, and several excellent restaurants. While it’s a bit of a longer walk to the town center and the main beach (and public transportation is virtually nonexistent), that didn't matter at all because the most beautiful beach was just a stone’s throw away. The host, Vasiliki, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and pleasant stay. If the behavior and attitude of the owner/host are important to you when choosing accommodation, you’ve come to the right place. Not to mention the beautiful swimming pool within the complex – simply a bonus to an already amazing stay.

Beautiful studio in a great location. Everything is to hand, from the beach and tavernas to a good supermarket. We always have a car, but you could easily get by without one. 100% recommended

“Enjoyable”
Lovely reasonably priced apartment. Very clean and well maintained. Nice bottle of wine and cake waiting on arrival. New pool area which was appreciated. I also liked the greenery and plants in the grounds.

Our bungalow accommodation was superb right next to the pool, the beach was on the side road and the supermarket was on the main road. Quiet and peaceful absolutely amazing place.

“We'd revisit this family run accommodation without hesitation.”
The garden was beautiful and really well taken care of. A basic breakfast of croissants and coffee/ tea were provided on arrival which was considerate, considering out flight arrived in the late evening. Car rental was available on site which was convenient and available at short notice. The pool was clean and well kept, and our hosts were friendly and attentive when needed. The supermarket and bus stop were just a short walk away.

“Amazing! All you could want for a truly amazing holiday.”
The host makes you feel so welcome and takes care of even little things like the smell as you walk in is, it was just so welcoming and instantly lifted you. She was always there if you needed her for anything. The pool is amazing. Everything was just 5 out of 5 and you could not ask for more!

“Fantastic accommodation”
04/07 to 15/07/23 From the moment we arrived, Vasilki and her son Spiros not forgetting her husband made us feel extremely welcome. The apartment/bungalow we stayed in was immaculate and well furnished. The bed was extremely comfortable. The fridge was stocked with Juice and Wine. And a big surprise was a huge homemade cake that was delicious 😋 The gardens and pool like the rooms are immaculate. Lots of places to eat locally within walking distance, a supermarket and petrol station just down the road. Fantastic holiday made perfect by the accommodation. Thanks Nick&Allison

“We had a great week in a lovely apartment run by a really nice family and would certainly book again”
The owners who live on site were really helpful and friendly, they could not do enough for you. It had a great pool area, it was also close to a beach with 3 Beach Bars with free sunbeds and reasonably priced food & drink. A Supermarket was a 5 minute walk away.

“Exceptional stay”
I was surprised by the cleanliness of the room. The host was always doing the best effort to make us feel comfortable. Everything was sparkling clean, bed mattres very comfortable, fully equipped kitchen, welcome gifts in the fridge. The pool is new and I can say that it is the highlight of the property.

Koulouris is excellent , clean , beautiful apartments . Really good location a 2 minute walk to the beach . Hosts were very helpful and friendly . Great swimming pool . I highly recommend .

“A wonderful family run property set in a great location!”
A pleasant and wonderful stay with very friendly, kind and helpful hosts. The rooms were very clean and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pool area is all new and cleaned daily. The garden has a beautiful setting with mountain views and stunning flowers, a perfect place to go and relax! The location is great with the beach, supermarket and Kalyves town all on your doorstep. Our car was hired through our hosts which we would highly recommend. It felt like a home away from home!
