Fantastic location right on the ski slopes. Very cosy authentic Austrian mountain house (chalet). The big wood stove in the living & dining area gives extra warm coziness. All necessary amenities are available, even 2 sleds for kids to play with (the street/slope in front of the house is not too steep, so pretty safe). There are several day restaurants (eg. Zirmstadtl) in walking distance (15-20min), and 1 hotel-restaurant ‘Der Platzlalm’. The latter offers possibility to order bread rolls for the next day and also wine. Transport of all the luggage to the house: 1) First check in at the Maripop Hotel in Ried no later then 13.30h. Markus Rist will accompany you to the Hochzillertaler Bergstation in Kaltenbach and to the house. 2) buy a luggage ticket at the Hochzillertaler Bergstation in Kaltenbach: this will provide for a euro pallet size box (volume of about 2.2 cubic meter): two way ticket was €60 2) when going up around 3pm, your skipass of the next day is ok. If earlier, you’ll need an extra day ticket per person 3) buy a two way ticket for the skidoo (scooter with trailer) to transport your luggage (and 2 people) to the house: we paid €80. It is about 20min walk upward.
