Loved our stay! The staff are wonderful. It’s a peaceful, lovely environment that feels like you’re in nature. Great food. So relaxing hanging out at the beach restaurant all day. We did a dolphin watching trip which was just incredible!

The place is well maintained and has a lovely beach-surf atmosphere, located practically on the beach. The restaurant was quite good, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

This is the most relaxing place possible to end (or start) your holidays. Lots of privacy, cute and spacious cabanas with an open shower and toilet, and a lovely restaurant with cery tasty food, right at the beach. Personnel speaks English well and is really helpful.

Compared to neighbouring places, the most cozy and fancy resort on the beach 🙂 Nice bungalows, stylish outdoor bathroom (although it was necessary to time your shower out of the 'mosquito' hours 😆), good food in the restaurant. Absolutely amazing breakfast!

Location at the beach with an amazing restaurant and very friendly staff. We were spontaneously upgraded to a cabana right at the beach! Outdoor shower was a great experience too and they supported with going to the nationalpark and transport!

Normally, most tourists stay for a maximum of two nights in November to watch dolphins. It feels as if no one else is in this fishing village outside of the high season. It is incredibly peaceful. A peace that one always seeks and usually does not find. Fortunately, I am stranded here for a week and cannot imagine a better place to stay. I have found complete relaxation, thanks to the wonderful manager, Madu, who has provided me with the most beautiful room.

Friendly welcoming staff, felt like a community rather than just a place to stay. The dolphin watching trip arranged through windy waves was fantastic, saw a huge pod of hundreds of spinner dolphins. The food was excellent. The staff spent time talking to and playing volleyball with our kids. Stayed in the family bungalow, which was like fun glamping for the kids, with outside shower and private sand garden/chill space. We hired bicycles locally to explore the local villages and salt flats and walked to the beautiful sand spit beaches between the lagoon and the sea. I particularly liked that the resort used filtered water and didn’t just hand out plastic bottles like other resorts, which adds to plastic waste issues. There is a sister resort - Luna palm resort, that offers a different varied menu a short walk away

Lovely spot on the beach, really helpful staff and rustic, authentic rooms. Loved the outdoor bathroom. We did a brilliant cooking course at their sister hotel and the Captain helped sort out other activities including dolphin watching and kayaking. Really easy stay and very relaxing.

“The best”

Three weeks into our trip, we still find ourselves thinking back to our first stay at Windy—with big smiles. We had an amazing time in our hut, but what truly made the stay special were the people. From the kitesurf team to the restaurant staff and reception, everyone was incredibly kind, fun and welcoming. Breakfast was great, with plenty of choice, and the food menu offered good quality at very reasonable prices. And best of all: the volleyball net!
