Amazing little gem run by a friendly couple

“Excellent stay with delicious food!”

There was a nice welcome with a welcoming drink. A very delicious breakfast was offered, and the serving staff is really good. The beds, the view and the proximity to the sea is very appealing. The food was really tasty and worth the price! Nice relaxation beds and a hammock is there for you to rest and enjoy the sound of waves under a tree shades. Will recommend and will visit again!

Nirukthie and Les run a great little place! It was low season and we were the only guests, and they and their team were super accommodating of our needs throughout our short stay, sociable and supportive. Wonderfully presented grounds with lots of space to chill, and right on the beach - sadly eroded by the tides over the years, but still good for a refreshing swim. Peaceful, clean and cosy, diverse and delicious food - perfect way to ease into our trip!

“One of the best in Kalpitiya”

One of the best locations in Kalpitiya, very quite and relaxing, own beach where you can swim. Houses are quite comfortable, great value for money. Nice dinner (though included breakfast could be more than just coffee and toasts)). The host, Lees (sorry if misspell the name) and his wife very friendly and helpful. Hope to come again)

“Idyllic location to relax and swim”

Beautiful location tucked away on the coast 100 yards from the ocean. Garden filled with frangipani trees provide shade for sun loungers and lazy days. Clean and spacious cabana with AC and hot water. Hosts and staff friendly and welcoming and we made our own stone fired pizzas on our first night. Host organised a dolphin safari which was excellent- ask to leave the main group of boats and find your own pod otherwise it feels like there is a lot of stress on the dolphins.

The lotus cabana is a very nice place to stay and have a relaxation. Beach is also very close to the location. Food is very good and tasty. People are friendly and nice.

The beach houses are ok. I dont recommend the rooms The owner is nice and helpful

“Luxury, No soul.”

Nice place. Beach directly from Hotel. Luxury feeling. No Sri lanka homestay feeling. Madame cooked very good homemade food.

The owners and their team are wonderful and take great care of their guests. The bungalows are pretty, clean, and spacious. The food they offer is excellent! They serve local and western food, also Less, the owner, built a wood fire oven where he makes pizza every Tuesday and Friday. You can choose the toppings for your pizza, where you'll also find his self-made Polish sausages and smoked ham. Honestly, the dough was amongst the best I've had in quite some time. Wonderful, peaceful place. Highly recommended!

Very charming special couple running the place. The food is fresh and delicious. The "cabana" as the beds were clean and the utilities were functioning. Lovely spacious compound located truly at the beach which is "reserved" for the guets ! Thru thr owners we got a arrangement to go on a Dolphin Safari"....Awesome !

Lovely hosts especially the owners brother who couldn’t talk English but served us dinner 2 nights while the owner was away such a laugh Food was good and position on the beach fantastic but so much litter especially plastic but it’s everywhere Room was large and clean No drivers rooms but owner organised one for us Owner also has 5 dogs but we’re well behaved Ait con worked well and was really needed

We had a very nice stay! Nirukthie & her husband made us feel at home! The food was topnotch, fresh fish and prawns cooked to perfection! Real treat! They were also very helpfull in arranging transport, and renting motorbikes. The cabanas are on the beach and excellent beach for swimming. Beautiful quiet beach garden, with many frangipan trees. Thanks Nirukthie &crew we will keep many beautiful memories!

“The perfect place to let your soul and mind relax.”

The question is, where to start? They have built up something really unique, the little houses are located directly at a beautiful beach. They have everything you need, AC, a fridge, they are spacious and the shower and bathroom are well equipped and very clean. The owners (an extremely kind and funny polish austrian who enjoys life on the sunny side now) and his Sri Lankan wife are so lovely and helpful, they think of everything for you: they organized a safari in the wilpattu-park (very recommendable), boat tours, a scooter, transfer, literally just everything you need. But the best thing about your stay will be the kindness of the people surrounding you and the food! We’ve been to several countries and places but the food they offer is one of a kind. You get fresh (extremely delicious) fish every day, that they buy from the local fishermen. The seafood is just amazing. Additionally, the owner makes his own „Wurscht“, an Austrian sausage speciality as well as stone oven baked pizza every Wednesday. I cannot emphasize enough that this place will be everything you expect from a Sri Lankan beach, especially if you want to have an authentic and heartwarming experience. Thank you so much again guys for making our first days in Sri Lanka that special!

It was exactly what we were looking for- nice house close to the beach, sea brief, wonderful view to the sea from the restaurant, friendly host, good meals! Perfect swim in the sea and walking on the sandy beach, watching kites runners. The place I will dream to come back.
