“Lovely time under the 200 coconut trees”

We really loved our stay in Agro village! The people were so nice and kind and made everything to perfection also for our child and baby. They did special meals every day without spices for the kids and very tasty stuff for us parents. Especially the pool area we loved so much as it is just lovely to swim in such a quiet place under the palm trees 🌴 It is a bit out of town but for us it was just beneficial as therefore it was also really calm and quiet.

Set in a peaceful location and simply decorated, the property was clean and exactly as displayed online. The room was spacious with powerful a/c and lovely private balcony. Great value for money. We loved the free bikes!

Dinner and breakfast were great. Love that there’s free bikes (need them to go and do anything). Very peaceful. Pool looks lovely, though I didn’t use it. Great tree top view from balcony, but lots of ants.

“Very chill place to stay”

The house are really nice designed with comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. The terras has a beautiful view on the gardens of the place which are well maintained. They have a nice place were you can relax or have your breakfast or lunch / dinner. The food served was delicious. We did a dolphin spotting trip via the hotel manager and I would really recommend it.

The stay was excellent. I received a warm welcome and was looked after with great care throughout my entire visit. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. The garden is beautiful and the fruits were served freshly picked straight from the tree. Other than that, I felt very comfortable and can wholeheartedly recommend this resort.

We liked the room. Comfy beds and a really nice balcony. Don’t miss some nice examples of design carpentry in the bathroom and elsewhere. Great cooking and a very helpful management and staff.

Everything! Anouska has created a very chilled haven here. He’s a great, friendly host who is very helpful. The pool and free bikes are great and the food -wow! By far the best food we had in 16 days in Sri Lanka. Anouska has a wonderful chef! All in all we could happily have stayed much longer here.

“A quiet resort in Kalpitiya great for families”

We spend one night at the Afro Village resort. Our group had 3 adults and 2 children. We spend one afternoon just idling in the resort. The pool and the garden were very nice for the kids to play around. The owner and staff were very accomodating and made us feel welcome. The breakfast was delicious.

The resort was so calm and surrounded by beautiful trees, a perfect place to relax your mind. The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. They even provided free bicycles that guests could use, which made exploring the area enjoyable. I truly loved the hours I spent at this resort. It’s worth more than the money I paid

The host is very nice, and the whole facility is so beautiful! The rooms are new and very clean, and the open air bathroom is especially great!! The garden and the pool are wonderful to relax.

The place is ideal for relaxing. A beautiful big garden with a swimming pool, a spacious room with a very comfy big bed. The owner is friendly and he does his best to fulfill every wishes of guests.

“A real hidden gem and good vibes”

Anushka was a fantastic host who went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. He organised a safari to Willpathu at a very reasonable price which included a boat ride on the lagoon! Shelton’s cooking was exceptional and we enjoyed two delicious and hearty breakfasts and dinners of local food. The room and bathroom was very clean and comfortable and AC kept us cool in the nights. We also took advantage of the lovely pool and free bicycles to explore the local area. Everything is done to a high standard and quality and I would definitely return to this beautiful part of Sri Lanka.
