Great spot to stay, about 20 minutes from Holmavik and far enough away from everything that we saw the most amazing northern lights the night we stayed! The hot tub was a nice addition, kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner, and nice bathroom.

Very clean, cozy, great hot tub. The owner was a very kind man. We arrived very late at night around 1am and we had to call him (sorry to wake you up ) but he still helped us with everything over the phone...he had everything prepared for us.

There was no heating in the cabin which we felt strange

What a beautiful cabin in the middle of a quiet and serene landscape. I felt home immediately and took a plunge into the hot tub. Fully equipped kitchen, nice and firm sofa and bed. Wonderful.

Lovely cabin, beds are soooo comfortable. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the hot tub due to the weather and a storm hitting but inside was warm and cozy. Only thing we would have liked was a heater just to make it a little warmer.

We loved this beautifully spacious, well maintained cottage. The kitchen was great. The hot tub was lovey to relax in on our arrival. The owners had it full for us. We would have loved to stay longer.

We met our host Benedikt on arrival. He was friendly & helpful, & explained how things worked. The property had everything we needed for our stay, including cooking facilities, & a sitting & dining area. The private hot tub with the natural hot water, was a lovely experience. A stay here will not dissappoint.

This was probably our favourite stay in Iceland (we stayed in 12 different locations. The hot tub is wonderful, the host was kind a helpful and we had a grill too. Don’t look anywhere else if you are in the area.

really nice cabin. warm had the facilities we needed nice shower. enjoyed using the hot tub and bbq facilities. nice location in the mountains. thank you.
