Our one-night stay at Maison d’hôtes IZZA was very pleasant. The owners are warm and sociable, and they have created a welcoming, convivial atmosphere that encourages guests to socialize during dinner and breakfast. The terrace at the back, overlooking a lush river valley and a kasbah, was particularly enjoyable, and the sunset was simply spectacular.

Beautiful traditional place. Very friendly hosts. Delicious food. The best we’ve had in Morocco. Clean room. The view from the terrace is amazing, better than the pictures. A unique experience.

Definitely our best stay in whole Marocco! Izza and Mohammed welcomed us with so much warmth and literally made us feel like home. Everything was perfect: the rooms were great, the homemade food was amazing (we left rolling because it was SO good!), the view stunning plus both were so helpful, gave us great advices and taught us about maroccan life. We can't wait to come back with the whole family and can only recommend to stay there :)

The staff was more then great, learned a lot about Morocco talking to them. Definitely recommend taking the dinner option 👌🏻 Very tasty.

I absolutely recommend it: the location is wonderful, and the room and everything else are beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The terrace offers a stunning view of the sunset. The hosts are extremely friendly, and the food is simply outstanding.

Breakfasts and dinners haven been excellent with a lot of passion put in. The hotel is a good base from which to explore the valley of roses

Absolutely fantastic place! Wonderful view over the Valley of Roses and the nearby kasbahs. Calm and safe area, with parking in the courtyard. The whole place is built and furnished with exceptional taste and great attention to detail. The rooms were wonderfully cozy and the beds super comfortable. Everything was impeccably clean and well maintained — an absolute delight. The food was exceptional, made with the best ingredients and offering tasteful variations on Moroccan cuisine that set it apart from the standard tagine and couscous. Breakfasts were wholesome, delicious, and featured different surprises on each of the three days we stayed. The owners were friendly and easy to talk to, with plenty of recommendations for visiting the area as well as interesting background information. An absolute gem in all regards!

Literally everything. The kasbah is amazing and the terrace with view is a bonus. Dinner and breakfast were amazing too.

The hosts were welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I would strongly recommend this place !

“A chance stopover became the highlight of our trip.”

Exquisitely designed little paradise of a maison. Secluded from the town, it looks over a riverbed teeming with storks and little barley and wheat fields. The operators are so kind and excellent cooks. I hope to come back.

Beautiful guesthouse with lovely decor. Excellent service and good location (you need a car). Home made food was delicious, especially breakfast (best breakfast crepe / flaky flat bread and yoghurt so far in Morocco).

The location was excellent for exploring the Valle des Roses and Dades valley, and the views stunning. Isabelle and Muhammed were so welcoming and friendly. Delicious breakfasts - everything homemade and plentiful. Muhammed kindly invited us to his family home to share itfar. This was one of the highlights of our trip, an honour to be included in this special celebration. Sadly the weather wasn't great for our stay - the wind was strong which meant that we couldn't enjoy all the beautiful outside spaces. The beds were very comfortable with extra blankets if needed.

“Dinner around a table with Moroccan stories...”

We spent a night as a stopover on the way to Merzouga, in December and had a special night. We shared a superb dinner around a big table with other guests, while the young host entertained us with Moroccan stories... A stay to be remembered.

“Tasty food a change from chicken tagine!”

The duvets were wonderfully warm and the food was delicious. Friendly host and beautiful house.

Very cosy, family feel like experience, food absolutely amazing different than anywhere else in Morocco! Owners the nicest people. Definitely recommend!
