The communication before arrival was very good. We received clear instructions about accessing the apartment, including the location and code of the key box, as well as some helpful recommendations for local restaurants. This created a positive first impression and was greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, the experience upon arrival was very different. My daughter arrived at the property in the middle of the night and found that the key box was not where the instructions said it would be. She immediately sent a message to the host but did not receive a reply until the following afternoon. The response simply suggested contacting the cleaner, who reportedly did not speak Finnish. By that time, my daughter had already been forced to find alternative accommodation during the night. What was most disappointing was that the host showed little interest in following up on the situation, checking whether she was safe, or offering any compensation for the stress and inconvenience caused by being stranded late at night without access to the booked accommodation. It is unfortunate, because the initial communication had been so promising.

The host communicated very clearly and practically, and accommodated special requests kindly. The place was very clean, and the bed was comfortable.

“Too hot and uncomfortable”

The location of this modern apartment is fabulous, just a stones throw from the marina/ waterfront. The apartment had an adequately equipped kitchen even though we didn’t use it apart from hot drinks. The shower had good water pressure and there was a washing machine although we didn’t use it. The bed was quite comfortable. Check in and out was easy

The place is super neat, well equipped and clean. Perfect sound insulation - for my 3 nights I felt I am alone in the building. Location is also great, next to the lake in a new housing estate with plenty of (paid) parking options. Tatu is an excellent host; he went out of his way to provide good service. (I arrived with a late flight, so he met me around 1am at the apartment.)
