It was a wonderful stay here with my husband. We were the first Korean who actually visited this place. The couple was so kind and loving. Especially the dinner course was wonderful. We were really glad that we could enjoy this meal from her. Thank you :)

Exceptional hospitality and the meals were amazing.

It was one of the best hotel experience i ever had in my life. A beautiful home, perfect host, a superb 'family feeling' dinner. The room was big, spotless and decorated with taste, looking at the mountains. Chatted with another guest and we both agreed we were not expecting this. Very highly recommended.

This house is what you dream the French countryside would be like! Perfection! If you’re walking the Camino de Santiago, driving through southern France, or even looking for a short trip from San Sebastián, absolutely come here. The bed is so comfortable and the French linen down comforter is like sleeping in a cloud. The room is wonderfully quiet and, with the shutters closed, perfectly dark. The decor of the house should be featured in Travel & Leisure magazine for its beautiful design and modern renovations while still maintaining the original charm (Jean Pierre, one of the hosts, did the renovations himself!). Do not miss the dinner and breakfast, homemade by the host, Lara! Each plate is expertly arranged, topped with little peppers or edible flowers, and beyond delicious. We have a high bar coming from New York and the dinner especially blew us away. Lamb with pumpkin and beans, little toasts of cheese, zucchini bread and beet purée with a crunchy little green salad and banana walnut bread for dessert. We will remember this place for a long time and we wish we had been able to stay longer to explore the mountain hikes and have another beautiful dinner with our hosts! If you have a chance to stay, it’s the best euros we’ve spent in our 3 week road trip across Spain and France, excellent value.

“truly extraordinary gem”

Literally everything was extraordinary, the whole place, the excellent hosting of Laure & Jean Pierre, the beds, the breakfast and the amazing dinner we had the night we arrived. Bravo on all fronts, we could not be more enthusiastic!

Beautifully restored house which was spotlessly clean. Excellent secure bike storage. A warm welcome and excellent food from the hosts. A great base for cycling with the Col de Mente and Col de Portet d'Aspet less than 10km away.

“Worth staying at”

Very nice owners, we felt well in this place. The room was newly renovated with style and the bed very comfortable. We also go to try the evening meal which was good.
