The Mansion, location and garden is absolutely beautiful, superbly located near Repovesi national park. Perfect stay for people who love nature, culture and great food. I strongly recommend. Food was unique and extraordinarily good, surprising and made from local incredients.

“cosy little cabins in a beautiful serene location by the lake”
The location was the best part! Out on a lake, cute little cabins and super peaceful. Breakfast was fine, pretty typical for Finland. We had dinner at the restaurant one evening (there is nothing nearby) and the food was very nice.

Location is exceptionally beautiful. Loved the history of the place and the beautiful main house. Also additional buildings were tastefully built to look like old barns and there were only 3 of them, which was nice. Small wooden sauna was wonderful and very nicely placed far away from the main building.

An excellent location close to Repovesi National Park. We stayed in one of the small cottages, not in the main building. Excellent breakfast and dinner. We booked the lake sauna for an additional fee - highly recommend.

“Two-day trip to Repovesi park - with a restful night at Kirjokivi”
A nice, old manor near Kouvola and especially Repovesi National Park, which was the destination of our trip, making the location of the property ideal. We had a Luhtihuone, in a small building in the yard. Our room Fredrika was downstairs and it was neat, clean and very nicely decorated/furnished, with a small private bathroom and a/c. These rooms are really small, so two adults barely fit in, but it was enough for us and the facilities at the manor are really nice. But if you need a bigger rooms, choose one in the main building. The breakfast was good, too, and was served in the manor. Additionally, we booked the small wooden sauna by the lake, and liked it. The peace and quietness were important to us, and we fully enjoyed our stay.
