“Medieval French Town”

Beautiful Town with fantastic roads for Motorcycles.

We had a brilliant stay at Josselin church view. It is located in an excellent position at the top of charming Josselin and it is easy to explore everywhere on foot. The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. The bathroom was modern with an excellent shower and the beds were very comfortable. My three year old loved the box of toys. The owners were also very understanding when I made a mistake with the booking.

Excellent location. A lovely house with everything we needed as a family. The hosts left bread, milk, butter and wine on a arrival which was a lovely touch.

Good correspondence from the owners, easy entry with the door key. Lovely location close to the town center, quiet area with good parking options. Good facilities in the property. Good walks from the property.

Everything inside the property was as advertised. The comfort of the place was like being at home or better. Perfect location!

Perfect situation in this beautiful town

The only negative is if you are very old or have a disability, you may find the stairs a like tricky. Apart from that this is a lovely place to lay your head when visiting Josselin.

We had such a lovely stay at 'Church View' in Josselin. Perfect location to simply stroll into the beautiful town centre or take a walk by the river. It was quiet and restful yet not isolated. Just on one of the days was it more lively but that was due to the Medieval Festival which was on during our stay (we absolutely loved the joyful, colourful madness of it all!). The house was just right for the 3 of us and our dog who loved laying in the sunshine in the outdoor garden space. Comfortably furnished in a French country chic style with all the facilities we could possibly need for our stay. The large supermarket was literally minutes away so we could stock up on supplies. We very much appreciated the welcome pack on our arrival (bread, cheese, wine...thank you!) and access to wifi etc and use of a small washing machine. We'd happily stay here again - thank you so much to Paula and Dick for sharing their lovely home. And for their communications in advance with clear, access information and well wishes for our stay. If you're looking for a small, cosy, comfortable, French village house then I highly recommend 'Church View'. Also, if you do stay here we recommend eating out now and again in the restaurants in the town and by the river (such friendly staff in the ones we visited). Also a trip to here https://www.poeteferrailleur.com (approx. 12 mins drive away). It was magical and amazing with again lovely welcoming people. We discovered it thanks to a leaflet in the house.

Great proximity to Josselin town. Spacious and comfortable property with lots of home comforts. Well-equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds.

It had everything really. The beds were so comfortable it’s was difficult to get out of the damn things!

No. Breakfast, mouse or rat in the loft, which we heard of a night, next door , there it’s building work going on, I told the man, about the noise. Also everything lovely and clean,but living room very dark and musty.I don’t think anyone had stayed for a while I did ,eave note regarding Amina, in loft area.
