Claudia and Denis are the friendliest people! We had such a fantastic stay, we even slept late for the first time in months. Emy is a sweetheart and met us with lots of love. The room was fantastic, with a wonderful balcony to sit snd admire the vineyard and mountains. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was lovely and the big surprise was the "mini kitchen in a cupboard with a fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, coffee etc, cutlery and crockery and even a toaster. Real sugar cubes in a glass jar. A lovely touch! We could habe stayed for a week! Beautiful walks around the house and a wonderful restaurant recommendation, very close by, with great food - Le Cercle.

“The perfect hidden oasis.”
It was the perfect oasis for us. Surrounded by a vineyard, a lush garden, and beautiful house not to mention fabulous hosts and Emy their adorable dog who came to greet us at our car on arrival. We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived here. One evening we had a glass of wine in the vineyard as the sun went down, the other we cooked a meal on the BBQ after spending time by the pool. Claudia provides yummy breakfasts with home made yogurt and jams (scrumptious)! They have bikes you can use to cycle along the old railway line to various converted train stations. A great location with comfortable beds. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you to Claudia Denis and Emy for making our stay so special.

“Perfect stay in all respects....we will be back!”
We liked everything. The pool, the garden. property overlooking vineyards. Superb hosts. We have stayed here in years past, and would not hesitate to stay again. We had the apartment suite (Mistral) with full kitchen, which was a bonus after two weeks of haut cuisine.

Nice location within a vineyard with very comfortable surroundings. We had a small, but very efficient unit which was comfortable. The location is very convenient to the rhone wine region and not far from Avignon. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Very highly recommended.

“So good we extended our stay by a night”
Lovely, peaceful location in an restored 17th century Provence farmhouse, with a modern addition of a swimming pool, ideal for cooling off at the end of the day. I needed wifi for work purposes while staying, and connectivity was excellent. We opted for the breakfast each day, which was a very reasonable 12 Euros pp. The homemade apricot jam was outstanding. Best of all, Mas du Clos de l'Escarrat is run by a warm and engaging couple Claudia and Denis, who go the extra mile to ensure their guests are satisfied. We did the (extra cost) half day wine tour with Denis, which was excellent too. All-in-all an ideal base for exploring the area, handy to everything, but tranquil.

Extremely nice oweners who made us feel at home, location fantastic for wine lovers and close to Orange for restaurants, nice swimming pool and outdoor area around the house, incl. parking. Room with air-conditioning and equipped with basic kitchen utensils. Old style rustic building but newly renovated and fresh.
