An idyllic wooden cottage in a picturesque village. Very quiet location; well, except for seagulls nesting nearby, but that is a part of the charm of the area. Helpfully owners, who quickly communicated before the arrival. The appartment was spacious, perfectly clean and with all the modern facilities, including well-working wifi and a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering. Plenty of free parking in the vicinity and a local supermarket within a very short walk. Altogether a perfect base for sightseeing the region: visiting Bergen, hiking near the Folgefonna glacier, and swimming in Hardangerfjord (which was a positive side of the heathwave) - there is a good beach (Vikesanden) ca. 500 m away.

“Lovely pleasant stay on a fjord shore”

The location was lovely - right outside the Jondal ferry dock so we could carry on towards Bergen really easily. Lovely walks and I know a few walking trails also start there. The garden has a lovely cherry tree and is right on the little river. Lots of different coffee machine options which was great!

We loved the location and waking-up/going to sleep to the sound of the river just outside. The outside area was an amazing place for chilling and eating.

The accomondation is a typical nordic wooden house which has its charme. It is located directly at a small lake and has a little garden. The kitchen was fully equipped and clean, the living room had a cozy atmosphere and was clean.
