The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The location is great, just a 10-minute walk from the metro station. The staff were more than wonderful—very friendly, helpful, and supportive throughout the stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The rooms have become a bit old over the years, the kitchen seems and the reception seems to have been renovated. The breakfast was made up from croissants, cheese, ham and some cornflakes, juices and coffee. I found it good/okay. The beds were very comfortable. All in all, for the price in Paris it is quite good.

“A friendly hotel in a nice area for a good price.”
The staff were very helpful and friendly, even lent me a phone charger as I had forgotten my own. The breakfast was comprehensive and tasty, with fresh bread and croissants every day and a range of food including plenty of fresh fruit. The hotel was being renovated when we stayed so there was some noise and mess around the garden but it never impacted on our comfort. The area, Joinville, is really quiet and genteel, close to the vast Bois de Vincennes and next to the very pleasant river Marne. There's a range of shops selling everything you could need, including a small Carrefour and an Intermarché which both sell very good ready-made food for if you're on a budget. There's also a very nice street market each Wednesday and Saturday. It's a 15-min walk to Joinville-le-Pont métro station (line D) but there are regular buses and you can hire bikes in two separate locations nearby. All in all I would highly recommend Hôtel Cinepole if you don't want to (or can't afford to!) stay more centrally, or if you simply want to stay in a pretty and likeable parisian suburb.

“Simple, clean, no frills.”
The staff were very friendly and the nearby village was very nice and quite well connected, although a little far from the ciry centre. The breakfast was better than expected. We found a great saturday street market nearby later on.
